98w ago - This weekend DeViL303 has made available PS3 XMB File Manager Beta v0.02 for Rebug 3.55.2 CFW which allows Custom Firmware users to examine the PlayStation 3 file system with details outlined below.
98w ago - Today French developers Dev-Team-SPT / ARCH have made available what appears to be an unofficial version of Rebug PlayStation 3 Custom Firmware dubbed Rebug One CFW Arch which includes the same features along with some modifications of their own added followed by a stability fix.
To quote, roughly translated: Hi all, here's a version for those who love the team Rebug CFW. This version has the same features but with some additions to the story knowing that the Rebug team will now slow down on the stage since the PS3 launched in the XBox scene.
Additions CFW Rebug_One ARCH:

After having to QA a few PS3 in a row. Then installing a different firmware straight after, it was time to cut out the middleman.
Toggle QA will SET/RESET the QA Flag and Token on any 3.41 or 3.55 firmware that has lv1 mmap and lv2 peek and poke patches (which is most of them).
When you run the app it first detects if the PS3 is 3.41 or 3.55. Next it will check if your firmware has any of the required lv1 patches already and only patch the hypervisor with the ones you need. After it finishes patching Toggle QA will check the status of the QA Flag and SET/RESET it accordingly. Then once the QA SET/RESET is done any lv1 patches made will be removed.
HOW TO USE:
1: Install toggle_qa.pkg
2: Run Toggle QA from XMB
3: PS3 will beep and return to XMB. (If you do not hear a beep it has not worked)
120w ago - What started out several months ago as a PS3 Retail to Debug WIP Project is slowly nearing completion, with GaryOPA receiving word from PlayStation 3 hacker Cyberskunk alongside a video of Rebug PS3 CFW 100% booting in Debug mode on a Retail PS3 console.
To quote: In this video you can see the PS3 first booting and then BEEPING. This is normal, if someone installs an full official DEBUG PUP via Service Mode on a Retail Console.
Next you see Cyber booting on his PS3 using a USB Jailbreak Dongle! This time the PS3 boots-up and is a fully 100% DEBUG firmware, no crashing or beeping, loads right into the XMB!
This is all possible by the Codename: REBUG team developing their own "custom payload" loaded for usage on the old v3.41 Jailbreak dongles!
From Cyberskunk: Hey Gary, The vid we sent you uses a dongle to boot the DEX COREOS on retail console as we thought that to be more conclusive since you can mimic the DEX XMB quite easily..
We can however boot it without the dongle but before everyone gets excited being able to boot the DEX COREOS and getting all of its functions up and running without rehashing (converting) your console are two completely...
120w ago - Following up on the PS3 NFW 3.55 v2 with v3.70 Spoof Custom Firmware from earlier today, Sony PlayStation 3 hackers Cyberskunk and evilsperm have now released a Rebug PS3 3.70 Version Spoofer 2.0 and Rebug Update Package v0.1 (3.41.3) and v0.3 (3.55.2).
This or any other spoofer won't allow you to play newer Firmware PS3 games or access PSN without updating the PlayStation 3 console.

3.70 Version Spoofer 2.0
3.70 Version Spoofer 2.0 is available for 3.41 and 3.55 firmware and is much faster and safer to use than the previous version spoofers. It works like the Rebug Selector and backs up your current files before activating the spoof, then auto reboots leaving no room for end-user error.
INSTALL: Press L1+CROSS to INSTALL 3.70 Version Spoof files to your PS3
ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE: Press L1+CROSS to ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE (System will reboot)
