5w ago - XSeed Localization Specialist Tom Lipschultz posted up a video today announcing that Ys: Memories of Celceta is coming to PS Vita on November 26th, 2013.
To quote: It's Thanksgiving weekend. Your whole family is in a tryptophan-induced coma from eating too much turkey. But you? You ate nothing but pumpkin pie, so you're still wide awake.
Fortunately, you've got your trusty Vita on hand, along with a copy of the Ys: Memories of Celceta Silver Anniversary Edition, which launches on November 26th. So while your in-laws all dream of sugarplums and dandelions, you'll be off exploring the Great Forest and saving the world from evil yet again.
The latest installment in Nihon Falcom's 25 year-old RPG franchise, Ys: Memories of Celceta, is a complete reimagining of the series' legendary fourth installment. To make a long story short(ish), Ys IV is a game that's been published in Japan three times previously - and all were completely different games that were developed independently by different companies.
Despite each one introducing and greatly expounding upon some of the franchise's most pivotal lore, Falcom never actually created their own version of the game... until now.
And in keeping with tradition, this is no mere remake. The story is brand new, and the land...

You may have heard of different naughty surprises that came with firmware 3.00, and you may ask what the hell this has to do with me? you may also wonder about the future of VHBL and TN-V4, I’m gonna tap on that here, but I’m also gonna explain why I think Sony has made a huge dumb mistake.

5w ago - Sony Community Manager James Spafford shared details today on the Tearaway Community Site for PlayStation Vita users below.
To quote: Hi everyone! I'm back with the second video in our series, taking a look at Tearaway and the things that we think make it special (the first came out last week).
This new video is all about the paper Tearaway is made from, and the papercraft models that you'll be able to make once the it comes out.
It also details tearaway.me, which will be the community site for the game where all your in-game photos and papercraft plans will be stored and shared from. The site isn't live yet, but it will be soon, so watch that space!
You can pre-order Tearaway now directly from PlayStation.Store, with both the Jukebox and Special Delivery options available, allowing you to choose from a great selection of pre-order bonuses, including a special skin for the rideable pig (and papercaft plan to match), the soundtrack, and even some special Messenger costumes for Sackboy!
5w ago - Zen Studios Community Manager Bobby Loertscher confirmed that CastleStorm is out today on PS3 and PS Vita platforms.
To quote: If you like building castles, destroying castles, knights, vikings, war, weapons, spells, troops, multiplayer, PS3, PS Vita, cross buy, well... CastleStorm is your game! CastleStorm launches today for both PS3 and PS Vita.
For those of you getting ready to play later today, we thought it would be nice to give you some tips on using the ballista, the primary weapon mounted just above your castle's gate.
Starting out, you'll utilize the low-powered, quick-spawning javelin, while the vikings fire harpoons. As the game progresses, you'll unlock more projectiles for your arsenal and upgrade these with gold you earn during missions.
The javelins and harpoons have the shortest regeneration period and will be your best asset in early levels. Getting five kills at once activates a shooting frenzy, which means you can shoot all projectiles in rapid succession for a few seconds. No regeneration period means you can do a lot of damage in a short amount of time, so don't hesitate to fire away.
While javelins are meant for targeting specific enemies on the ground, the Knights' Apple Grenade can either be used to take out a cluster of oncoming enemies,...
