73w ago - Over the weekend PlayStation Vita developer Virtuous Flame has made available OpenCMA, an open-source homebrew application that prevents the PS Vita Content Manager from connecting to the Internet to bypass online and the latest OFW checks.
To quote: A few days ago I posted my concerns about the “Content Manager” tool, a tool that is compulsory to install and use if you want to copy files from and to your vita. Some people said I was paranoid (see my answer to that at the end of the article), and others shared my concerns and started digging. 75w ago - Update: Sony has now released PS Vita 1.51 Firmware Update (JPN), and although no official changelog is available according to PlayStation Japan the update fixes an issue with Dynasty Warriors Next that prevented players from progressing further.
With the Japanese release of PlayStation Vita slated for tomorrow, Sony has now released a PS Vita 1.50 Firmware update which allows for PSN feature access including the PlayStation Store alongside a Content Manager Assistant application for updating via PC.

81w ago - Previously Sony confirmed that PSN users can activate downloaded games on to up to five different PS3 or PSP systems, but today PlayStation Network Operations VP Gordon Thornton has announced this policy is being changed to only two- possibly to curb game sharing.
One alternative for those on PS3 Custom Firmware is to check out the PlayStation 3 homebrew exdata license reactivation tool ReActPSN which currently reactivates PlayStation Network data.
