New Raiden Shoot-em-Up Coming 2015, Raiden IV Stick Compatible

100°
3w ago - UFO Interactive's Alex Lotz announced that a new Raiden shoot-em-pp video game is coming to PS3 in 2015 and confirmed it is Raiden IV Stick compatible.

Below are the details, to quote: Japanese developer MOSS recently announced that the next game in the Raiden series will be arriving in 2015. Until that game arrives, the latest in the series - Raiden IV: OverKill - is exclusively available on PlayStation Store for PS3.

Those fighting for a spot on the high score list, which also posts a replay of their session for the world to see, are standing a better chance with their chosen hardware thanks to the new arcade stick [Register or Login to view links].

Playing Raiden IV: OverKill is a brutally instructive experience. Like Tom Cruise's character in Edge of Tomorrow, you can expect to die countless times as you learn the patterns of your enemies. But once you've put in the work it takes just to survive the game's onslaught, it dares you to take more risks by rewarding you for breaking up your natural movement patterns.

In the game's OverKill mode, certain defeated enemies linger on screen in a slow crashing animation. Pumping these wrecks full of lasers, protons, and missiles charges...

Sacra Terra: Kiss of Death PS3 Launches July 8th on PlayStation 3

3w ago - Alawar Entertainment Product Manager Polina Belavskaya announced that Sacra Terra: Kiss of Death for PS3 launches on July 8th for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.

To quote: Nothing can ruin a marriage proposal like an uninvited guest, especially when the guest is a demon that feeds on human suffering.

Mark had planned the perfect evening: first, a romantic dinner at his girlfriend's apartment, then getting smothered with kisses after he popped the question.

He would have pulled it off, too, if it hadn't been for the spell book he found on the terrace. AND if he hadn't read the ancient words scribbled on its pages. Has this guy never seen "Evil Dead?"

In a fury of flame and hell smoke, there she was: Lilit, complete with black lips, nails to die for (or die by), and a pair of devilish horns. In a flash, she snatched up Mark and dragged him to the underworld. Think of the last shot of "Drag Me To Hell" on steroids.

Tiffany, of course, wasn't going to let another woman steal her man, so she set out to get him back.

As you can tell, we had fun coming up with the scenario for Sacra Terra: Kiss of Death, a hidden object puzzle adventure available next week on PS3. We also had a good time designing the puzzles and crafting the locations.

3w ago - Sony's Jawad Ashraf of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN Game Store content updates, which include Guacamelee STCE, Child of Light and Ratchet and Clank Trilogy.

To quote: Taking a leaf from Capcom's book of highly descriptive titles, last year's hugely popular Guacamelee! receives the Super Turbo Championship Edition treatment on PS4 this week, chucking in new levels and a new boss among myriad other enhancements. My favourite addition? The homage to Super SFII Turbo!

Over on PS Vita, Ubisoft's eyeball-pleasing Child of Light is also available from today. Just as with the PS3 and PS4 versions, the kingdom of Lemuria has had its share of troubles thanks to the Black Queen. As Aurora, it's left upon you to sort this small dilemma out.

Also available today; after a small delay Atelier Rorona Plus for PS3 and PS Vita, new DLC for Watch_Dogs, Ratchet & Clank Trilogy on PS Vita, a fresh batch of PS Plus games, and tons of discounts in our Big in Japan promotion!

MAGES Inc Announces ConstantC PS3 is Out Today on PlayStation 3

50°
3w ago - MAGES Inc Assistant Manager Shinya Ito announced that ConstantC PS3 is out today on PlayStation 3 with details below.

To quote: We're happy to announce that ConstantC is available today in North America on PS3 via PlayStation Store!

ConstantC is a 2D puzzle game set in a futuristic space station where time stops and all objects around you become motionless. Your task is to help navigate a robot through each stage of the game. To do this, you'll use special devices that grant you the ability to restore time, and even defy gravity.

A central Artificial Intelligence controls the space station, which lay dormant until the main character's arrival. This A.I. will help the Rescue Robot by providing information to help solve the game's mysteries, and it will prove a most reliable and trustworthy ally.

The A.I. has a hilarious, hyperactive personality; it will often encourage the main character, while other times it will take a more sarcastic, mocking tone. As the game goes on, the A.I. and the Rescue Robot will discover the Space Station's hidden secrets. Who knows, some of these secrets may be directly related with the A.I. itself!

ConstantC launches today for $9.99! Have fun!
