79w ago - NIS America Marketing Coordinator Ryan Phillips has posted up a fresh video trailer today announcing that Mugen Souls will be hitting the PlayStation 3 this coming Tuesday alongside an NIS America update below.

To quote: I'm dropping by today to briefly talk about our upcoming RPG title Mugen Souls, developed by Idea Factory and Compile Heart.

Mugen Souls is set to release next Tuesday, October 16th, so I'd like to go over a few of the game's awesome features and game mechanics. Afterwards, I'll recap a few of the announcements we made at Tokyo Game Show 2012 a few weeks back. Here we go!

Story-wise, in Mugen Souls you can expect the typical humor and zaniness you've come to expect from NIS America titles. You'll enter a small galaxy in the universe containing seven worlds, shimmering in seven colors... These worlds exist and act independent of one another.

This has allowed them to develop and nurture rich, unique cultures. One day, a decree was sent out... "I'm gonna make everything in each of these worlds bow to me!" This reckless statement came courtesy of the egotistical, yet strangely cute, "Chou-Chou."

As Chou-Chou, it's your mission...

Video: SunFlowers Shines on PlayStation Vita Tuesday for $3.99

80w ago - The Game Atelier Lead Designer Dr Lakav has shared a fresh video trailer today announcing that SunFlowers will shine on PlayStation Vita this coming Tuesday for $3.99.

To quote: Good news, everyone: we have an official date for SunFlowers - next Tuesday, October 9th for $3.99!

SunFlowers is a brand new puzzle-shooter game for PS Vita, including two unique worlds: Classic and Tropical. Each world has more than 160 flowers to collect.

Now let's take a closer look at the second world from SunFlowers: Tropical. In this world you will discover new varieties of flowers, including pirate-themed blossoms, but every flower is still based on a real existing species.

When you play on this tropical island, you will quickly discover that the climate is very different from the Classic world, and the weather can be unpredictable. From the tropical rain flooding your flowers to the big sand dune that dries them out, you will need to be very careful if you want to keep them all alive.

There is even a dusk stage where every cloud and flower is backlit, so you'll need to hold your PS Vita close to a light source if you want to clearly see what is happening.

See you on Tuesday for the release...

Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock on PlayStation Vita This Tuesday

80w ago - BBC Worldwide Executive Producer Simon Harris has announced today that Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will be hitting PlayStation Vita this Tuesday.

To quote: In response to many, many questions from PS Vita owners, I'm delighted to officially announce that the PS Vita version of Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will be available to download from the PlayStation Store next week on October 9th in the US and October 10 in Europe!

The PS Vita version of the game will have several new features that we've been working on the past few months.

One example are the new PS Vita controls, which utilize the combination of the dual analog stick controls and PS Vita's touchscreen features, enabling players to switch between the more traditional controls and the ability to tap the screen to affect the action. All of the puzzle games within the game have been reworked to make full use of touchscreen controls as well.

We're also tapping into "near", PS Vita's geo-social service. Using "near", players can collect "Gallifreyan" medals while playing through the adventure and then drop them in a GPS location for other players to collect. Grow your collection while searching for other players' medals!

We'll also support PS Vita's Cloud Save option for players who own Doctor Who: The...

Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy III is Coming to PSN Tuesday

300°
82w ago - Square Enix Product Manager Charles McCarter has announced today that Final Fantasy III is coming to PSN on Tuesday!

To quote: PlayStation fans are no strangers to the FINAL FANTASY brand, and have continued to be devoted supporters over the series' 25 year history. Last fall, we brought two additional classic entries in this franchise to the PSN catalog as part of our Winter of RPGs campaign.

This time, I'm here to help close out summer with a bang. The list of numbered FINAL FANTASY titles available on the PlayStation family of consoles has been incredible, but alas, it has also been incomplete. That changes on September 25th, with the release of FINAL FANTASY III on PlayStation Network.

Now, PSP owners will be able to experience a piece of FINAL FANTASY history as they embark on a journey with the four Warriors of Light - Luneth, Arc, Refia, and Ingus – as they battle to save the world from being engulfed in Darkness. A dangerous mission, to be sure; to accomplish their task, they will need an incredible set of skills.

FINAL FANTASY III was the first installment in the series to include the now-famous Job System. While this band of heroes starts out as Freelancers, with time, they will each be able to learn one of 23 different jobs!
