180w ago - This weekend Arne announced that Naughty Dog is kicking off an Uncharted 2 PS3 multiplayer double cash holiday weekend!
To quote: "For the next 5 days, the per-match limit on earned cash will be $150,000. That's not a typo–we're running the Double Cash weekend a day longer than typical for a holiday weekend. Make the most of it!
It goes without saying that this is probably a good time to get a leg up on your run to hit level 80. I know I'll be checking into multiplayer to get a jump on gaining levels.
Double Cash Weekend:
Starts: Friday, July 2, 2010 at 10:00 AM PDT
Ends: Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 10:00 AM PDT"

193w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Arne Meyer has shared some pictures and details from PAX East 2010: The Naughty Dog LIVE PS3 game design panel today.
To quote: We've all returned - and mostly recuperated - from our trip to Boston this past weekend to attend PAX East.
It was both a pleasure and an honor to make it out for the inaugural PAX on the East Coast, not only to attend the show, but also to participate in panels.
Everyone at Penny Arcade deserves all our gratitude for putting together such a smooth first - and completely sold out PAX in Boston. We're looking forward to PAX East 2011!
We weren't expecting the massive turnout for our panel on Saturday, "Naughty Dog LIVE: Game Design with the Dogs." When I got to the Naga Theater to setup for our panel, the line waiting to get in was insane - and it was a whole half-hour before our panel was due to start. I heard some people had been waiting in line for over an hour at one point.
It was sad to hear that PAX Enforcers had to turn away a...

The session will take form as a lively discussion on the inherent similarities of artistic endeavor and will encompass conversations on Richard's and Baiyon's...
UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves received ten Interactive Achievement Awards, including Overall Game of the Year. I was sitting in the audience watching the Naughty Dog team walk up to podium to accept one award after another.
By the end of the show, the entire UNCHARTED 2 core team was on the stage with the biggest award in their hands, thanking their incredibly talented team and family members who supported their intense development cycle.
AIAS Award, like the Academy Award for movies, is chosen and voted by the professional game developer community. It's a celebration of creativity in game development and to let the world know who brought the most exceptional talent, passion and love to make a game in the past year.
I have been attending this event for many years, but being associated with the game that has taken the highest honor of the year is an incredibly special moment for anyone in the industry....
