Video: No Man's Sky on PS4: The Ambitions of Hello Games

16w ago - Sony Blog Manager Fred Dutton revealed the ambitions of Hello Games in No Man's Sky on PS4 today complete with a PlayStation 4 video trailer below.

To quote: One of the undisputed highlights of our E3 2014 media briefing was the moment when Hello Games' visibly nervous Sean Murray clambered on stage to show off No Man's Sky, his team's remarkable open-universe, science fiction epic which will debut on PS4.

As you'll hopefully have ascertained in the press coverage since (and in Sean's blog post), there's extraordinary ambition on display here, especially given the size of the Hello team, and it was no surprise that it was arguably the buzz game of the show.

48 hours after his moment under the E3 spotlight, we were lucky enough to sit down with Sean and learn the story behind Hello's journey from humble beginnings in Guildford, UK to the biggest stage in gaming, surviving natural disasters in the process.

Not only that but he also laid bare his mind-boggling vision for what No Man's Sky will be. Trust me, this one is well worth a watch...

17w ago - Octodad: Dadliest Catch Creative Director Kevin Zuhn shared some Octodad Shorts today that are free, totally human, normal scenarios below!

To quote: Greetings, fellow normal humans! Did you have enough fun playing Octodad: Dadliest Catch? Of course not, you can always have more fun playing Octodad: Dadliest Catch!

But instead of yelling with your friends into a Youtube camera, now you can have fun that is officially sanctioned by the Young Horses. Behold new content, [Register or Login to view links]!

Octodad Shorts are DLC levels we're releasing for FREE, which explore new scenarios in our tentacled father's life. New levels were our number one most requested feature (next to making the game free), so we've been hard at work doing what you all tell us to!

But why look at screens when you've got bullet points!?

• Over 40 new objectives!
• Over 20 breakable plates!
• Over 0 unconscious ragdolls!
• An unspecified amount of new octopus sounds!
• Probably a pizza!

Want to see all this and more? Just wait in front of your computer for a while (weeks) until the new Octodad content washes over you like a summer breeze.
