220w ago - Following Kaz Hirai's keynote address at Tokyo Game Show 2009, Sony revealed that the PSP will be getting a version of PlayStation Home dubbed PlayStation Room.
This newer portable version will let you have blogs, photo albums, and some social networking features like chat, mini-games, and real-time communication.
The upcoming PSPGo will also have 700 launch games when it arrives on October 1st in North America, to quote from Examiner.com (linked above):
"The PSPGo will have a very large library of games available for purchase. Offering 700 downloadable titles when it hits America, the PSPGo will launch with the biggest library of games any system has ever had - meanwhile, Japan will have 400 games available."
Finally, according to JoyStiq.com the PSPGo will be getting a converter (pictured below) since it's not compatible with current PSP accessories such as the PSP camera.
To quote: "With the new Converter Cable Adaptor, PSPgo users will be able to utilize the existing peripherals for PSP, Sony announced at Tokyo Game Show today. Peripherals like the 1Seg Tuner and GPS Receiver will be able to fit in the Go's proprietary Multi use connector."
224w ago - It appears The Behemoth's 2D action game Castle Crashers is no longer exclusive to Xbox 360.
According to CastleCrashers.com (linked above), the highly popular Xbox Live Arcade game will be hitting the PlayStation 3 via PSN in 2010.
This news comes despite earlier reports of it arriving on 8/27/2009 (which is obviously false), so now the title will not be conquering the PlayStation Store this year.
For those unaware: Castle Crashers is a side-scrolling, beat-em-up which incorporates a small number of role-playing game elements.
After selecting a character, the player then selects a starting level (beginning with the wizard's attack on the castle) through a graph-like world map; once the player completes a level, they may then opt to start or revisit that level any time.
Other levels include shops where the player can buy items for healing, attacking, or defense using coins gained from defeated foes, and arena levels where the player can take on challenges to unlock additional characters, although in co-op the arena turns into a player vs player match.

226w ago - Update: Although not definitive, The-NextLevel.com reports that Capcom's Chris Kramer stated the games will be out "within the next three months."
A few months ago it was first reported that Capcom classics were making their way to Sony's PlayStation Network.
Today the green flag was given to three more, specifically, the ESRB has now rated Dino Crisis, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for the PS3.
However, no release dates have been given at this time.
To quote: "The ESRB site doesn't have the search fields in the URL so we can't give you links to the ratings for the games, but search for them and you'll see the newly added 'PlayStation 3' platform under each one.
No dates yet, of course, but presumably we'll see these on our Store sooner rather than later."
