184w ago - For those who can't wait until this fall to experience Sony's PlayStation Move and Move Party first hand, user H0yTecnologia has shared a new gameplay footage video of it in action via YouTube today.
Although PlayStation Move is implemented on the existing PlayStation 3 console, Sony states that it is treating Move's debut as its own major "platform launch," planning an aggressive marketing campaign to support it.
In addition to selling the controllers individually, Sony also plans to provide several different bundle options for PlayStation Move hardware, such as a starter kit with a PS Eye, a Move motion controller, and motion-control enabled software, priced under $100 US.
To quote from the video's caption, roughly translated: "In HoyTecnologia have had the opportunity to test the Alpha version of peripherals and Sony has done a very good impression."
To quote: "The level recorded is Act 2 of the Mad Gear Zone level. Mad Gear Zone is based on Sonic 2's Metropolis Zone.
The seven minute long video is below for your delectation. It's obviously not going to be in super high-definition 1080p in fullscreen but it's fine (best watching it without fullscreening it since the video gets stretched & definition gets lost when Sonic is flinging himself around)."

197w ago - Today Examiner.com (linked above) uncovered a God Of War 3 PS3 GameStop commercial ad and GamePro.de shared some fresh GOW3 gameplay video footage (including new scenes and spoilers).
Those interested can check out both videos below, and to quote:
"As with most popular video game releases, God of War III comes with a special pre-order bonus from GameStop.
This special commercial for the upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive highlights the GameStop exclusive Phantom of Chaos character skin.
God of War III will be released on March 16th for the PlayStation 3. The Phantom of Chaos character skin will unlock once you download the DLC from the PlayStation Store after entering a code. You have to beat the game once to unlock the skin in-game."
201w ago - Recently misterwabo uploaded a video of what appears to be some leaked gameplay footage of Duke Nukem Forever to YouTube.
The newly found remains from the exploded corpse of Duke Nukem Forever have given followers of the Duke Nukem soap opera another chance to grieve the loss of 3D Realms' game.
To quote: "The apparently leaked footage is dark, blurry, occasionally covered in on-screen blood and might be familiar feeling to those of you who have sought out every scrap of footage and screen shot from the long in development Duke Nukem Forever.
At least, that's what we think this new-to-us footage is from, based on the enemies, fingerless gloves and big weapons.
And you know, some of it looks quite good, particularly the lovely headshot scatter and explosions. Plus, how often do you get accurate tumbleweed physics?"
203w ago - SCEE Social Media Manager Jem Alexander has shared a video today on the Europeam PlayStation Blog which includes timelapse footage from a recent Sony MAG256 PS3 event.
To quote: I'll have a full report from our MAG256 event – including more video, photos and more – on Friday, after I've got my breath back.
Many of you were there in spirit, using the #MAG256 Twitter hashtag to appear on our event Twitter wall. Thanks to all of you who did and, indeed, to all of you who showed up and helped give Zipper a good pounding! (Well, once at least).
To tide you over until Friday, here's a timelapse video of the setup process for the now legendary "256″ structure that housed our brave soldiers during the event. I think you'll agree it's a pretty impressive feat of engineering.
So here's the video. I'll be back with more very soon, but right now, I'm off for a lie down. I think I've got shell shock...
