105w ago - Eidos Montreal Community Manager Kyle Stallock has posted up some new video footage of Deus Ex: Human Revolution for PS3 today from this year's E3 convention.

To quote: Demoing a game like Deus Ex: HR isn't easy, but it also isn't boring. As you can see in the video, sometimes our strategies don't go as planned, so we must improvise and adapt.

Adam, the man behind the controller (who coincidentally shares a first name with the game's protagonist Adam Jensen), does just that by showing viewers multiple solutions to potential problems. Would you have played differently than Adam? Let us know below.

113w ago - Sony Computer Entertainment America's Product Evaluator Nick Suttner has announced today that Eufloria will be pollinating PSN in June, showcasing the evolution of ambient RTS action!

To quote: Myself and a group of other SCEA folk are busy ramping up our Pub Fund program, helping independent developers to bring their games to PSN without the restraints of a traditional publisher.

There are no specific criteria, outside of selecting games that we think are interesting and that we're dying to play ourselves: Joe Danger, Hoard, Explodemon! and Tales From Space: About a Blob are recent examples that came to fruition with the aid of our program.

We have a RIDICULOUSLY KILLER slate of titles lined up for the future, and we're going to try and do a better job of giving you guys a heads-up about them so that you can share in our excitement, and hopefully help support the developers who are trying to do things a little differently.

And that brings us to Eufloria, which we're thrilled to announce as our next Pub Fund title! Omni Systems are hard at work wrapping up a gorgeous new PS3 iteration of their ambient real-time strategy game, scheduled to hit the PlayStation Store in the latter half of June...

To quote: Multi-path, multi-solution; chances are if you've read, heard, or watched an interview with a member of the dev team these words appeared.

This isn't marketing speak, nor are we incessantly reciting this "password" to try and unlock some deep-seated mental programming placed by the illuminati (or are we?).

This type of play is as integral to the Deus Ex experience as conspiracies or transhumanism, or even wearing sunglasses at night (kidding about that last one, kind of...).

In the spirit of this foundational element we've released a new gameplay trailer highlighting three different ways to tackle one scenario: aggressive, stealth, and adaptive.

To quote: Deus Ex: Human Revolution releases August 23rd in the U.S. No one is more excited to have this information out in the wild than all of us at Eidos Montreal.

Okay, so maybe that's an exaggeration. Judging by all the emails, various article comments, forum posts, Twitter responses, and Facebook comments, this is something you've wanted for a long, long time. But imagine spending four years on an absolute labor of love, and finally being able to tell people WHEN they can experience the fruit of your labors!

132w ago - Games Director Matt Southern at Evolution Studios has revealed a fresh track for MotorStorm Apocalypse on PlayStation 3 today.

To quote: It's been a while since we've shown anything new from MotorStorm Apocalypse, we were planning on keeping pretty quiet while we work like maniacs to get the game finished.

But when I was asked to skip over to New York for one last reveal of 2010, I couldn't resist showing just one more track, and of course sharing a glimpse below.

Let me introduce a track that has presented us with some of the biggest gameplay challenges we've ever had: Skyline, AKA 'the Blockhopper' AKA 'Vertigo Redux', AKA 'the one with a race where you get dropped from a helicopter onto a skyscraper that is already collapsing, and are expected to win against a pack of bikes and ATVs on rooftops and in offices that are falling to pieces'.

Making the track spectacular but also fun and winnable by all 13 vehicle classes has been a real test of everything we've learned.

For obvious reasons there are a lot of jumps and ramps as you pelt from one building to the next, and that means ensuring you can always make those jumps after bailing, even in a Monster Truck.
