258w ago - There are many people that are new to PAIN and its various expansion packs. The "Abusement Park" add-on is corrupted for anyone that downloads it right now.
Many are blaming the recent 2.53 patch, which adds a free character and YouTube support to the game.
"If you did not have the Abusement park addon downloaded from PSN prior to the update the level is destroyed and unusable, Items fall through the landscape the background image is blank white and the level is unusable."
A quick look at this thread shows a lynch mob asking for Idol Minds' head.
Direct-feed video of the glitch shows how the game is rendered unplayable... because nothing gets rendered! Unfortunately, this glitch doesn't appear to be affecting a small group of people.
Once again, this being the holiday season, it seems unlikely that affected individuals will get a patch in the immediate future.
Note: because even deleting LFTV and korean font there was not enough space this time, this version will delete also flash0:/dic/apotp.dic
I'm unsure about what this file is for (maybe for Japanese text predicition?) but system works fine with it.
IF you want to keep some of the things deleted by the 150k_installer do following things.
- Install DC7. Use the Format flash options in nand operations menu. Make flash1 size like around 1 MB smaller, make flash3 the smallest possible, and make flash2 a bit smaller (not too much, or you won't be able to download games and demos from psstore). Then, make flash0 as big as possible and continue.
- Install 4.01 M33, update to 5.00 M33.
- Install 1.50 addon. Dump 5.00 using the latest psardumper, and flash the deleted files you want back.
270w ago - The first add-on for Spore, called Spore Cute and Creepy Parts, has been spotted at online retailers. It carries with it a price of $19.99 and should go on sale from November 18th, 2008.
To quote: It looks like the first addon for Spore will arrive very soon indeed. Called the Spore Cute & Creepy Parts Pack has a retail price of $19.99 and will be available on the 18th of November.
Word of the expansion appeared on online game shops like Gamestop and Amazon. No box art is currently available.
Judging by the name, the expansion will offer little more than creature parts which is a meager addition for $19.99. We'll give EA the benefit of the doubt for now, and hope that the pack will offer much more than that.
283w ago - Fair warning right now, there will be general Metal Gear game spoilers in this article. If you have not finished Metal Gear Solid 4 at very least, go do so and then come back and read. The other games in the series may also have spoilers, but odds are you had that ruined or you played with the database too much already. Ok you've been warned.
I recently completed Metal Gear Solid 4 and what a ride it was. Great game start to finish, however there are some things I would have liked to have seen added. Calm down fanboys, I'm not knocking the game in ANY way, here are just my suggestions to give us a little more time in the Metal Gear World. Before I continue, I'll say it again, there are going to be some spoilers in here! Read on at your own risk!
Add #1: Playable Raiden I know it's a little crazy, but why not let us do some Raiden chapters to see what he's been up to before he jumps in to hack and slash some Gekko up? The Metal Gear Series has never really let you play as one of the awesome Ninjas (Olga, Grey Fox aka Frank Jaeger, and now the cool, sword carrying acrobatic Raiden who apparently quit being a girl since MGS2.
Yeah I said it, take that MGS2 Raiden fans) and I think it's about time we get to pull off some crazy ninja action. Should be easy enough to do,...
