132w ago - Today [C*] posted a guide on PSX-Scene with the help of plamenz on how to get Assassin's Creed Brotherhood working on PS3 JailBreak with PlayStation 3 Firmware 3.41.

For those already with the video game, here it is as follows: DO NOT SIGN ONTO PSN WITH THE BLES VERSION OF THIS GAME. IT ISN'T OUT UNTIL FRIDAY!

BLUS VERSION IS OUT NOW SO THAT'S FINE.

I have tested it on external with Hermes v4 with PSN, with disc inside. My Gaia manager didn't have the patch to 3.41 option, but I edited the game's .sfo anyway.

1. Install patch : EP0001-BLES00909_00-AC2TITLEUPDATE01-A0101-V0100-PE.pkg
2. Make empty folder ASSASSIN_ISO in USER DIR at BLES00909
3. Start Open Manager 2.1 +L2 patch to 3.41 ([C*] says: Or just edit the game's .sfo to 3.41)
4. Put some BD game
5. Start from BD icon
6. Wait for some mandatory install
7. Play the game and njoy

Tested 250GB Pal PL3+PSN iLLNESS. To be clear the folder has to be made in the folder of the game dump, not the update...

Cyberskunk over at psx-scene has barely slept in the last 4 days getting PL3 and hermes updated along with myself, and then out of nowhere xeoe ported Hermes v4b to spoof 3.50 and beat us to it by a matter of hours =)

Once xoeo released his hermes mod Cyberskunk and I were able to get our hands on it and start to clean it up and port it for 3.41 use.

This is pretty much a FINAL release for hermes v4b unless something else useful comes along that needs to be ported in but hermes v4b is not our main focus...

132w ago - Today Who's That Flying Writer/Producer Jim Griffiths has shared a video trailer and let us know that the PlayStation Minis title will be hitting PSN tomorrow for the PS3 and PSP consoles.

To quote: We're very, very pleased to announce that our second minis game, "Who's That Flying?!" goes live tomorrow on the PlayStation Store!

With "Who's That Flying?!", we've combined side-scrolling shooting action with elements of tower defence and even some up-close and personal quick-time events for the super-dramatic moments!

What that means is that the character you control, the "Guardian of Earth" is pretty much invulnerable, blasting enemies apart and grappling giant bosses with ease - but the cities you are defending are hugely vulnerable.
