Video: JFW DH PS3 CFW - 3.56 PS3 Custom Firmware Demo

1500°
171w ago - Today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer DemonHades has shared a demo video of their upcoming JFW DH PS3 CFW (currently slated for release this October 1st) on PlayStation 3 version 3.56 Custom Firmware from the previous v3.41 CFW demos posted.

To quote, roughly translated: Before you're reading something about 360, or PSN not bother reading it

Hello friends, as I told the DH JFW taxes have only worked in 3.41, well now we add the new DH JFW 3.56.

This time new JFW DH can only be installed on a 3.55, 3.56 or a self-update patching part of a hardware flasher (teensy recommend) is the most inexpensive and convenient.

What to do with the DH JFW 3.56 ....

  • Run homebrew
  • Loading backups-without managers (Multimedia)

What is not so far ....

  • Once on 3.56 you can not do down due to the new system updates that explain in a while.
  • You can not use Thegra (so far)
  • You can only down a flasher, but if you go into factory mode and not get caught and you can go.. we have not touched the QA, but it could be a way out.

No more to thank Alexander jaicrab, Calimba, chickenpox.

1saludo and I do not see this press release websites or ps3crunch eol trolls as at other sites...

200°
171w ago - Today Petteri Putkonen at Housemarque has shared a Road of Devastation update, which includes new weapons, enemies and rules as detailed below.

To quote: As Road of Devastation begins, you (and your partner if co-op) escape from a laboratory and find yourself at a crossroads leading to three different roads.

Each road has its own perks and dangers lying in wait - with different environments, items and enemies for you to discover. Choose your road, and let the devastation begin...

New weapons.

Road of Devastation will give players several new tools and ways to dispose of enemies with. And not just something you can carry with you but also elements found in the environment.

Electrified fences will fry anything that touches them when you turn the power on, so keep your distance and timing right.

Eat 1.21 Gigawatts!!

You may even get to operate heavy-duty industrial saws - perfect for disposing masses of zombies with (personal safety measure - keep your distance from the cutting end while operating heavy industrial equipment).

A new heavy weapon you can carry with you comes with a computer assisted, automated targeting system - more details about this high-tech equipment will be revealed in the very near future...

PSP Games Mountable on PS3 Reports Snowydew of Gitbrew

650°
171w ago - A year back we reported news of launching PSP games on a PS3 from Russian hacker GamerSuper, and today PlayStation 3 hacker [Register or Login to view links] of Gitbrew confirms that PSP games are indeed mountable on PS3 but notes that only some are actually playable.

Below are some relevant Tweets from him on mounting Loco Roco (pictured below) for PSP on the PS3, and as always we will update this article as more details surface:

  • Yes psp games ARE mountable, but some are not playable. I'll try lumines to see if it works though.
  • rar the directories if you can and send it to "snowy" on the gitbrew irc, when i wake up i'll have a look
  • Games to be run on it. Time to look towards the psone classics then, that or lets see if i can mount actual psone games. This shall be fun
  • The loco roco i used was from a umd, not psn related. From the documentation i've been reading, it would require heavy modification for psp
  • I need the psn versions sadly , already installed is what i need / specific files that are in the directory.
  • The reason i say that, is because i own these copies. Hardcopies / psone discs and psn /ps3 installed...

1500°
171w ago - Last week we saw JFW DH CFW demonstrating PS3 game backups via TheGrid Plugin which no longer requires a backup manager, and today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer DemonHades has shared a video showcasing the Games and Apps GameBootScreen in JFW DH Custom Firmware.

To quote, roughly translated: As you may remember, back when we launched a game lanzabamos the gameboot PlayStation 3, Sony decided to remove it (not even that), but hey no problem.

In this video you can see games and apps launch this GameBootScreen JFW DH , you will see some failures in the video image positioning, but that in the final version will be finished

1saludo and I hope you like demons, and it is becoming less for the publication of JFW JFW DH and DH MA
