223w ago - PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen has posted up the PSP digital comics store update today, as follows:

Now a major motion picture, [Register or Login to view links] is set in a world very similar to ours, where superheroes only exist in comic books, movies and (of course) the PSP.

From the Wolverine: Enemy of the State dream team of Mark Millar (Civil War) and John Romita Jr (Amazing Spider-Man, World War Hulk), 8 foul-mouthed issues of Kick-Ass arrive on the Digital Comics store today.

Other highlights this week include the fourth and final episode of [Register or Login to view links] majestic Burke & Hare, another Vampire Hunter D from [Register or Login to view links], and the long-awaited follow-up to Sláine: Book of Invasions from [Register or Login to view links].

If all of this seems a little too much for all you sensitive souls out there, there's more Wallace & Gromit, more Disney, and The One Where Archie Marries Veronica :/

Here's the full list:

Abyss # 3 - $0.99
The Amazing Spider-Man (2003) # 556 - $1.99

Sony to Change EU PlayStation Store Updates to Wednesdays

200°
226w ago - Since the inception of Sony's PlayStation Store, weekly updates for both North America and Europe have been on Thursdays, but beginning in May Europeans will get them a day early as they are moving to Wednesdays.

A press release recently sent to PS3 and PSP developers said the date for updating the PlayStation Store is subject to change. From May 5th onward, the updates to the virtual platform will be made Wednesday.

Remember that the updates are Xbox Live on Wednesday, which may be one reason for the upcoming change.

To quote, in part, from the release: "Changes to SCEE Game Store Publish Day

On May 5th, 2010 the SCEE Game Store of PlayStationStore publish day will move to Wednesdays for all content.

The final Thursday update published will be on April 29th, 2010."
