128w ago - Although it's been awhile since the previous update, today JNABK reports that Ifcaro has released Open PS2 Loader v0.8 for PS3 complete with Source Code followed by version 0.9 and v0.91 below.

For those unaware, this application allows for loading PS2 iSO images on PlayStation 3 consoles with PS2 support... meaning it must be a non-Slim PlayStation 3 model with (4) USB ports.

128w ago - Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has shared some video footage from BulletStorm's Cliff Bleszinski, who explains Co-Op Anarchy Mode and his favorite Kill Combo.

To quote: "Kill with skill" sums up BulletStorm's M.O. admirably. But now that the ultra-violent PS3 shooter is nearing its February 22nd release date, long-awaited details are finally coming to light.

Details including the game's multiplayer mode, which has remained shrouded in mystery since the game's unveiling. While BulletStorm won't include Versus, it will feature a separate four-player Anarchy mode designed for co-op play.

While Anarchy may draw instant comparisons to the co-op modes found in other online shooters, Epic Games Design Director Cliff Bleszinski pointed out that Anarchy is "not like a Nazi Zombies where you just have to survive."

128w ago - Update: According to several members (including jensen76, evilsperm, and sk group) when you downgrade a PS3 with the Modified 3.41 PUP (below), it currently cripples the Blu-ray player functionality. Some additional PS3 Blu-ray fix updates are outlined HERE, however, a more stable solution is still being worked on.

To quote from garyopa on one work-around: "I was able to restore one machine I had, by copying over all the files I had in the /dev_flash2 and /dev_flash3 back to the HDD, that I had saved before when it was on v3.41"
