Video: Resistance 3: Recording the Soundtrack at Abbey Road

156w ago - Insomniac Games Senior Community Manager James Stevenson has made available a video today which covers recording the soundtrack of Resistance 3 PS3 at Abbey Road.

To quote: When we set out to make Resistance 3, we wanted to make it an emotional, personal story of Joseph Capelli's harrowing journey to New York City in the face of certain death.

It's a brutal game, showing how humanity struggles to survive under the crushing weight of the Chimera. A big element of that was making sure that our score and soundtrack represented this new emotional payload.

It was a sincere pleasure on the part of [Register or Login to view links] to work with Composer Boris Salchow on the score for Resistance 3. Boris was here constantly, seeing the game and talking to our team.

He wanted to be invested in the story and create a truly great score, and we're confident that he's done just that.

It was also a pleasure to have the score for [Register or Login to view links] recorded by an orchestra at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London, The same studio that The Beatles recorded in was used to record our score and our colleagues in Europe were there...
