Video: New Resident Evil Mod for Paintown on PS3 POC Demo

78w ago - As I hinted on last week, to tie in with my recent fighter packs for Mugen I have decided to work on the other side of Paintown's features which includes the side scrolling beat em up section.

What Jon Rafkind has given us with his game is a virtually easy to use character editor an level creation tool. This is my first dive into game creation and there's been some trial an error moments as well as some ''oh I see'' moments, but my understanding of this is becoming better an better with everyday I spend with this.

So anyway I sat down and decided that I was gonna do a Resident Evil side scroller. I have a lot of ideas that will work well in this mod, Ive even had a few other ideas for some future mods. I can understand why video games take an age to come out, it took me 3 days to put Hunks character together, that's ripping the sprites an putting them into there move folders then converting them one by one to be transparent so the game doesn't show the coloured background behind the sprite.

I'm using three different computers all...

78w ago - So here we go, I call this Blade-Mod, an FckPSN Mod which includes add-ons, skins, settings and detailed information integrated into the application based off FckPSN by drizzt.

I like this method because all spoofs are on fly by PSN on DEX without installing something on PS3 (except for the ca27).

I know, almost no one needs it anymore (at least not for PS3 Firmware 4.25), but for all those like me, who for example don't want to change IDPS on DEX, or needs some settings to be variable, can use this tool to set all kinds of spoof settings. Get my rar -> its a ready to use pack.

PS3 Request IDPS Generator v1.0.0.0 By Rnd is Now Available

1000°
78w ago - Following up on the previous PS3 IDPS update, today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer Rnd (aka RndRandomizer) has released a Request IDPS Generator version 1.0.0.0 with details below.

Download: PS3 Request IDPS Generator v1.0.0.0

From the ReadMe file: REQUEST IDPS Generator - v1.0.0.0 - Rnd

v1.0.0.0:

  • Initial Release

Features:

  • Generate a request_idps file
  • Get PerConsole Data (board ID, cid, ecid, kiban ID, ckp2_data, ckp_management_id)

Usage:

Just get your NAND/NOR dump and drop it in this application.

No more need for re-flashing the whole dump in order to convert EID.

Simply it makes it easier to use it with ObjectiveSuites-SetIdps and you dont have to gether it from Sony's server.

Put request_idps.txt in Temp folder in ObjectiveSuites, to set your request_idps and you are done with flashing the new EID.

I'm not responsible for ANY DAMAGE it may cause! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

P.S. If somebody has a script to get the EID with ObjectiveSuites, I would be very...
