274w ago - Today Pelfast President John Bates has shared a Comet Crash defense gameplay video, and he announced that a Comet Crash free update will be coming soon to PSN for the PlayStation 3.

To quote: This is John Bates and Jennifer Pourchot from Pelfast. Pelfast is a small indie startup located in sunny California.

Our highly acclaimed debut title, Comet Crash for PS3 has turned the tower defense genre on its head with completely new and exciting gameplay. We've been busy again with a free update that will add a few new features described at the end of the post. For those unfamiliar with Comet Crash, here's a quick run down.

When we asked about the release window for the PS3 version of Free Realms, Smedley cheekily replied, "I'm wondering, too!" He then added, "It's next year sometime, toward the middle of the year."

During his speech, Smedley also addressed the functions which would be specifically tailored for the MMO's console outing, saying, "For the PlayStation 3 version, it's very likely that the Eye is going to be something we support."

276w ago - Sony has just confirmed to VG247 (linked above) that the PlayStation 3 God of War Collection, featuring God of War I & II, will indeed be region-free.

To quote: "Folks were wondering if it would be region locked since the European version will not be released until after the start of 2010.

Luckily, like most PS3 games, it is importable.

Good thing. We were worried folks would start showing up at Sony Santa Monica wielding their Blades of Chaos in protest.

Thank Kratos that won't be the case this holiday season."
