154w ago - Just Add Water CEO Stewart Gilray has announced Oddworld Strangers Wrath is heading for PSN- complete with next level HD remakes!
To quote: I'm here today to talk about the first title we announced: Oddworld Stranger's Wrath. You may have heard of this game before - it was originally released in March 2005, but we're doing an HD remake for PSN.
Recently there have been a whole raft of HD remakes coming to the PS3, and to be able to work on this project and take the definition of "HD Remake" to the next level has been a dream come true.
Not only are we revamping various aspects of the game such as texture resolution, user interface and game audio, but we're also overhauling the character models. You'll no doubt have seen the visual update we've done to the main character, Stranger. We're updating every character in the game in similar style, and today I'd like to introduce you to a couple more.
First up we have the Clakkerz, the general population from the towns at the start of the game all the way to New Yolk City. The guy pictured above is the Store Keeper, he runs the General Store where you get to buy ammo and upgrades, and is always wise cracking, ahem, with you. A lot of my passion for this game is the story...

154w ago - Telltale Games Co-Lead Writer and Designer Mark Darin has shared a video today announcing that Strong Bad is now available on PSN.
To quote: If you haven't already heard, or are living under some kind of boulder-type rock, Strong Bad just hit PSN!
That's right, Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People is now on the PS3!
Like most of Telltale's games, this is a five-episode comedy adventure featuring the popular and bizarre characters of Homestarrunner.com as they sabotage the Big Race, engage in a civil war, stage an epic battle of the bands, create a blockbuster summer action movie, and battle the dragon-man Trogdor inside the many poly-triangled world of Videogames!
And all for just $14.99. Yes, that's right - less than $3.00 per game!
We've introduced a whole set of new Trophies and tweaked the controls so that the PS3 version is the best version yet!
Here's a fun side note: each episode features an 8-bit style mini game playable from within the main game. The designer for each episode was responsible for their own mini game, that includes design, graphics and programming!
154w ago - Community Manager Patrick Brod has announced that Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones is available beginning today exclusively on PSN.
To quote: The third and final chapter in the Sands of Time trilogy is now available for your downloading pleasure on the PlayStation Network! Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones is back, this time in glorious HD (and 3D for those lucky enough to own a fancy new TV).
Play and master two distinct characters, the Prince and the Dark Prince: Wield the powers and weapons of two master warriors with different combat styles, attitudes, and histories.
The expanded Free-Form Fighting system lets you choose the way you kill: Strangle enemies from afar, use a new stealth art to inflict surprise decapitations and much more. As always with Prince of Persia, epic action combat, agility and story-driven puzzles are blended together for a rich gaming experience.
While I'm sure EVERYONE will miss the raging tunes of the one and only Godsmack from Warrior Within, you'll be pleased to know that the original Prince makes his triumphant return. Yes, the soothing voice of Mr. Yuri Lowenthal is back and smoother than ever.
