Bourne Conspiracy Demo Dated for PSN

50°
342w ago - Sierra has announced today that the demo for the Playstation3 version will be available on May 8th. The Xbox 360 version has already hit the marketplace and is currently available for donwnload.

The Bourne Conspiracy demo will feature:

- A look into how The Bourne Conspiracy combines original missions with memorable film moments to plunge players into the role of both trained Treadstone assassin and a malfunctioning government weapon on the run

- Brutal hand-to-hand combat choreographed by the films' fight coordinator and stunt legend Jeff Imada, recreating Bourne's signature combat style and ability to weaponize everyday objects in his environment

- Shooting using cover, wallwork, and use of destructible objects to distract and destroy enemies, along with a unique 'expert kill' shooting takedown system

- Seamless movement between hand-to-hand combat and gunplay, combined with unique 'escape & evade' game play where Bourne must escape deadly situations, all framed by relentless pace and camera techniques inspired by the cinematography of the films

- A taste of Bourne-style high speed pursuit, with a re-imagining of the escape from Paris sequence through a thrill-a-minute, arcade-racing inspired police car chase

342w ago - With a title like this, you know the jokes are going to start rolling in. Resistance 2 Demo Coming on Sony PlayStation Day!

50°
342w ago - An Insomniac Games employee, jstevenson, has written in the NeoGAF boards and confirmed that a Resistance 2 demo will be present during the Sony PlayStation day on May 6, a few days from now.

It is likely that impressions will leak out of the press-only event, and we'll make sure to post them when they appear.

To quote: We pull ourselves away from Grand Theft Auto IV long enough to record this 25th episode of the Full Moon Show. We bring you the latest info on Resistance 2 and our demo in Europe next week.

We also reveal more about our 8-player online co-op in our I Want Your Job interview with Jake Biegel. Former 1UP Network Editorial Director Dan "Shoe" Hsu joins us in the mystery guest segment, and we'll bring you the latest contest from Marcus. Plus Rolf's Rant and more!

ESRB Rates Possible PS1 Titles For PSN

100°
342w ago - For fans of the original PS1, Sony really hasn't been adding classics to the PlayStation Store at a fast enough pace. There have been a few, of course, but there are many more PS1 greats that should eventually find their way to the Store (for play on both the PS3 and PSP).

Well, according to a PS3Fanboy reader, it seems the ESRB has rated several fantastic PS1 titles that have yet to arrive on the Store. Well, we have to assume that if the ESRB is rating these games again, they're being prepped for another release... It's only common sense. Here's the list:

* Wipeout XL (E-Everyone)
* Jet Moto 3 (E-Everyone)
* Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo (E-Everyone)
* Buster Bros. Collection (E-Everyone)
* Street Fighter Alpha (T-Teen)
* Rayman (E-Everyone)
* Castlevania Chronicles (T-Teen)

Unfortunately, we have no idea when these classics might hit the Store, but we're assuming SCEA will make the announcements some time soon. With the likes of the original Rayman, Castlevania: Chronicles and the fantastic Wipeout XL (one of the best titles ever, in our estimation), this would be great news indeed.
