105w ago - Today SCEE Blog Manager James Gallagher has shared a video interview on MotorStorm RC which will be heading to both PS Vita and the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.
To quote: Judging from the comments, we caught you by surprise when we announced that MotorStorm RC is coming to PS3 and PS Vita in time for launch.
You all seem really excited about the game so I followed up with its director Paul Rustchynsky to discuss in more detail the vision, the Cross-Play with PS3 and PS Vita, and the social interactions that will be at the heart of MotorStorm RC.
If you have any further questions then please let us know in the comments and I'll get the answers.
To quote: This application is probably not of use for the community but some official PS VITA developers.
I required it just for some tests, but it would be a waste of codelines not to share it, so here it is:
PS VITA Live Area preViewer outputs various information about a game, including it's style it uses on the PS VITA.
To use it, simply choose the root folder of a PS VITA game. Then check the style in the upper right of the program which it is ment to be displayed with and choose the correct tab. All else is self-explaining.

106w ago - Following up on his recent PS Vita Firmware xTractor releases, today PlayStation Vita hacker SKFU has made available a PS Vita .PKG xTractor version 1.00 homebrew application for developers followed by v1.01.
From his page: After two sleepless nights and great help of iQD and PS3-690, finally the PS VITA .pkg xTractor application 1.00 is finished. This program can decrypt & extract PS VITA game package (.pkg) files.
To use the program you need to place the PS VITA .pkg AES key in the same dir as the executable. Funny as SONY is, they probably were to lazy to think of a new key and just used *hehe*, the PSP .pkg AES key.
Information tab not finished, yet. It will be completed in next version. So just put the PSP .pkg AES key in hex syntax in aes.key file in the same folder and you are ready to...
106w ago - Today Game Director Paul Rustchynsky has posted up a video introducing MotorStorm RC for PSN and PS Vita below.
To quote: I'm delighted to be able to announce - and show a trailer for - MotorStorm RC, Evolution Studios' upcoming radio controlled off-road racing game for PS Vita and PlayStation Network.
It was also announced literally moments ago on stage - so it's absolutely hot off the press! You can watch first video of MotorStorm RC in action here.
I've been game director to a small, elite team at Evolution Studios for most of the year, creating a simulation of high-speed radio-controlled car racing for PSN download.
We're extremely pleased with how the game is coming together; it's a perfect combination of classic racing with really modern connectivity features and it's already bigger than your average download game, with visually stunning renditions of all four MotorStorm worlds (and eight of their vehicle classes).
Every aspect of the game comes loaded with endless competition that you can share with friends and rivals worldwide - whether that's on PS3 or PS Vita, or both - and we're still packing it full of challenges, race types and features too!
