37w ago - SideQuest Studios CEO Marcus Pukropski confirmed today alongside a video trailer that Rainbow Skies is coming to both PS3 and PS Vita platforms in 2014.

Below are the details, to quote: Hi RPG and indie fans! We're excited to announce that Rainbow Skies is coming exclusively to PS3 and PS Vita in 2014.

Rainbow Skies is an indirect sequel to our RPG from last year, Rainbow Moon, which was nominated as the "Best Indie Game" in the PSN Gamers' Choice Awards 2013.

Taking a lot of fan feedback into consideration, we've been working on Rainbow Skies for nearly a year and are now eager to tell you more about the project.

First, Rainbow Skies is a new game that takes place in a new world, with new characters, monsters, and a story that isn't linked to its predecessor. The world of Rainbow Skies stretches over two parallel worlds, with strong visual variety, and 50 dedicated background music tracks.

Rainbow Skies is more than just a sequel. We'll be introducing many new features, including monster taming, an advanced battle system with new combo attacks, new dungeon action elements, a new dialog and emoticon system, new treasure hunt quests, an improved side quest system, explorable buildings, and new mini-games.

Apart from providing the new content...

Video: Ms Germinator to Splash Soon on PS3 and PS Vita Platforms

37w ago - Creat Studios Boston VP of Product Development Jason Benham posted up a video today announcing that Ms Germinator will be making a splash soon on PS3 and PS Vita platforms.

To quote: You know what sequels starting with the letters 'Ms.' usually mean: similar to the original, only more and even better?

Well, that's kind of the idea with Ms. Germinator too - she'll be splashing onto PS3 and PS Vita very soon with more power-ups, more modes and, well, just more style than her gnarly, gruff counterpart.

Ms. Germinator really does take her domestic cleaning to new extremes! You get to inflate and pop vast colonies of colorful germs growing on your stuff while skilfully using the new power-germs to devastating effect.

Here, the level shapes synchronize closely with the lush, cartoony backdrops. Hey, you'll actually get to disinfect your dog's bowl up close and personal, like... now, did we hit the spot or what?

There are literally hundreds of challenging levels in Campaign, Puzzle, Arcade and Duel multiplayer modes, all in serious need of disinfection. Have you got what it takes to 3-star them all? Frozen and contagious germs will muddy the waters while teleporters (yes, they've...

Video: Sweet Fuse: At Your Side Lights Up PSP, PS Vita August 27th

37w ago - Aksys Games Editor Ben Bateman shared a video today announcing that Sweet Fuse: At Your Side lights up PSP and PS Vita platforms on August 27th, 2013.

To quote: Sweet Fuse: At Your Side (hereafter referred to as "Sweet Fuse," "The Product," or "Oh Captain My Captain") is an otome game, developed by Idea Factory and Otomate, and published by Aksys Games.

Coming to PSP and PS Vita (via PSN) on August 27th (and to retail soon after that), it follows the escapades of Saki Infaune, irascible fictional niece of legendary game developer Keiji Inafune as she navigates a deadly theme park and searches for that most elusive of emotions: Love.

What is Love?

Apart from, presumably, not hurting me anymore, that's a question history's great thinkers and poets have been asking for ages. Some say it's an illusion-Plato seems to think it has something to do with the pursuit of knowledge and perfect, unknowable, divine objects.

Scientists might tell you it's a biological and chemical imperative that drives us to procreate and thereby propagate our species. I certainly can't claim any special knowledge as to the answer, but I can tell you that Sweet Fuse is dedicated to the examination of it. But not exclusively!

Video: Dragon's Crown: Fighting Together on PS3 and PS Vita

37w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements posted up a video today spotlighting fighting together in Dragon's Crown on PS3 and PS Vita below.

To quote: The kingdom is boiling in war all around you, and brigands threaten the crown just as much as the encroaching orc forces.

But you, noble adventurer, have loot to earn and treasure to find. You have swords to wield and spells to sling! Welcome to Dragon's Crown. Your adventure begins next week.

Dragon's Crown, from the developers at Vanillaware, follows in the footsteps of Odin Sphere and Muramasa Rebirth. It blends eye-popping, hand-drawn animation with RPG-fueled combat.

An ambitious project, Dragon's Crown features six characters for players to select, and a bevy of stages to fight through. Though there are chests to open and skills to learn, the combat in Dragon's Crown is more like a side-scrolling brawler. A brawler you can invite your friends to!

Dragon's Crown encourages four-player cooperative play on both PS3 and PS Vita. You and your fellow adventurers can brave the dark and dangerous labyrinths together, building characters to complement each other's skills, or tempting fate with difficult combinations. Want to dive into a dungeon with four wizards?...
