Rumor: LittleBigPlanet PS3 Exclusivity in doubt, coming to PC too?

200°
311w ago - A shop worker has sent around the following image and explains he got the following display boxes in at work for Little Big Planet on the PC which is pretty strange as it was thought to be a guranteed PS3 exclusive and probably still is.

This is most likely just an error or perhaps some clever image editing....

To quote: Little Big Planet on the PC? Bwah? Reader Jacob writes: "Got these display boxes in at work for Little Big Planet on the PC, How Very Queer!!!"

Pretty sure this is nothing more than a screw-up (not on Jacob's part, mind you!) and rather certain we'll only be seeing it on the PS3, but yeah, LBP on the PC would be pretty neat. That is, if you own a PC and are excited about LittleBigPlanet. If not, then oh well.

LittleBigPlanet Hits Japan on October 30, 2008

312w ago - Sony has confirmed that Media Molecule's ambitious world creation platformer LittleBigPlanet will hit Japanese store shelves on October 30, exclusively on PlayStation 3.

A firm launch date for other territories has yet to be officially announced, aside from a vague fall release window.

However, considering that the developer is European based, it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect a release in both Europe and the U.S. around the same date.

To quote, roughly translated from French: "Announced for October in Europe and the USA, but without specific day, LittleBigPlanet has reached its official date for Japan: October 30, 2008, priced at 5,980 yen (36 &euro."
