Video: Sony Unveils Tearaway PlayStation Vita TV Advert Premiere

50°
40w ago - Sony Product Manager Alex Moyet unveiled the Tearaway PlayStation Vita TV advert video premiere today with details below.

To quote: Just 10 DAYS to go until the launch of Tearaway on PS Vita - too much excitement! To help you while away the days why not take a little peek at the premiere of our official Tearaway TV ad.

The TV ad was filmed over two days in a studio in South Africa and includes a marvellous combination of CG, live action, puppet wizardry and - of course - papercraft! The set building team painstakingly crafted a stunning miniature paper set inspired by the world of Tearaway, including the snowy peaks of Gibbet Hill and the lush verdure of Valleyfold.

Have a look at some behind the scenes snaps:

With every tear, rip, fold and tab, a lot of love was put into the creating the set, from crafting a perilous ravine....

...to organising an entire production line just for trees!

And of course no Tearaway ad would be complete without a fearsome wendigo! Although this one needed a little bit of help standing up. Perhaps he was tired.

We hope you enjoy it - let us know what you think and don't forget there's still time to [Register or Login to view links]...

40w ago - NIS America Marketing Coordinator David Alonzo announced today that Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc hits PS Vita on February 11th, 2014.

To quote: Hey, doods! It's your humble Prinny David from NIS America here to school you with a cohesive thesis on our upcoming title, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc - a revised and revamped edition of the very first Danganronpa that appeared on PSP in Japan in 2010.

The game is set to release on February 11th in North America, exclusively on PS Vita - just in time for Valentine's Day! You guys ready to fall in love with some ultimate brutality?

In Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, you take on the role of Makoto Naegi - an excruciatingly ordinary teenager who one day finds himself accepted into Hope's Peak Academy. This is an ultra-prestigious school meant only for the best and the brightest and basically anyone but the ordinary.

Some of Makoto's fellow classmates include Leon, the Ultimate Baseball Star; Chihiro, the Ultimate Programmer; and Sayaka, the Ultimate Pop Sensation, so what's a guy like Makoto doing here?

Looks like Makoto's got enough to deal with trying to find his place amongst Japan's teen elite, but things get a little tougher when he suddenly falls unconscious and finds himself rudely awakened by an evil...

To quote: Recently I have read Wololo's article "Best PSP/Vita Homebrew for November 2013" and noticed that my quite old "SKFU's VITA Pr0xy" is still being used by many people.

Sadly I kinda' missed to release an updated version of my proxy software anytime. Thanks to the great feedback for my old proxy, here comes the very new one: "SKFU's Pr0xy".

I did remove the "VITA" from it's name since it changed a lot after the release of my old proxy server software, I don't want people to think it is a limited to PSV piece of software. It definitely is not!

But what it is and what it got:

  • The most user-friendly Windows Pr0xy
  • Keyword filter
  • Filter plugin support (users can create and share plugins)
  • Rules by traffic direction
  • Import & Export of rules
  • Blacklist
