193w ago - Capybara Games Co-founder and President Nathan Vella has posted up a video today spotlighting Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes which hits fans via PSN on April 12, 2011.

To quote: Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is our HD love letter to the original [Register or Login to view links] that we released in 2009 to acclaim and awards.

It's not often that you get the chance to remake your own game, so we couldn't pass up the opportunity to bring this gem to a whole new audience: you guys! By now most people know about Clash of Heroes' engrossing campaign mode, its innovative puzzle-strategy gameplay, and its tense turn-based battles.

But what few realize is that those battles are even better when your facing off against your friends (or some random stranger who has an ass-whupping coming to him). So that's why Might & Magic Clash of Heroes is dropping with full local and online multiplayer, in either 1v1 or 2v2 flavours.

Not content to simply juice up the multiplayer mode and port the game over, we decided to redo the game from scratch with all new 2D HD art, hand-drawn by the same talented crew of artists that brought you the lush visuals of [Register or Login to view links]....

Time Machine: Rogue Pilot Hits PSN This Spring with Multiplayer

50°
194w ago - Lesta Studio's International Affairs Manager Lucy Khatajaeva has announced today that Time Machine: Rogue Pilot is hitting PSN this Spring with Multiplayer action.

To quote: Our very first PS3 title Time Machine: Rogue Pilot is in the final stages of development and will be available on PSN later this spring (hurray!), which is totally exciting for our studio.

Time Machine: Rogue Pilot combines all my favorite elements from the "match three" and hidden object genre, combined with full HD graphics and a great soundtrack. Your task is to time travel through different eras to fix the past and save he future!

First, some backstory! The Time Machine was built by a genius professor for the good of humanity, but it was stolen by a fellow named Jack, who has an interest in bringing destruction to the world. He jumps from one era to another and creates chaos to the timeline.

While playing for Ilona, a young girl who was brave enough to chase Jack, you'll have to collect special crystals in match-three missions that serve as fuel for your Time Machine, enabling you to jump from one era to another.

You'll need to fix the past by destroying items that don't belong to the current era – these are the hidden object missions – to bring order to the universe and...

Rush N Attack: Ex-Patriot Available on PSN with Systema Combat

100°
194w ago - Konami Associate Brand Manager Pearl Lu has announced today that Rush N Attack: Ex-Patriot is now available on PSN with Systema Combat.

To quote: Bringing a game like this back into something accessible and interesting to a modern audience presented some unique challenges.

After all, the primary attack mechanic from the original 1985 game was quite literally a "stab-stab-stab" motion from side to side across the screen, which you can see from some gameplay footage here:

So how did we update this? The answer we found was Systema.

Systema ("The System") is a form of martial arts practiced by the Russian secret service (Spetznaz). It is characterized by hand-to-hand combat and knife fighting with a goal toward merciless takedowns that are brutal and brief.

Incidentally, the developer for this game is Vatra, a studio based in the Czech Republic, a former Eastern Bloc country, and they just so happened to have some people in-house who were intimately acquainted with "The System."

Jan Sedlacek and David Sykora, are Systema masters, and functioned as consultants and motion capture performers for this game. So yes, these are actual moves.

Now for how it all fits together. In Rush'N Atttack: Ex-Patriot - now available on PSN...

194w ago - Sony Online Entertainment Lead Designer Stephen Bokkes has made available a video announcing that Free Realms hits PSN today and includes Voice Chat and PS3 Trophies.

To quote: Today, as a PS3 gamer, you should ask yourself only one question: where can I race a demolition derby car against my friends, build a fun house for my friends to come play in, battle monsters as a stealthy ninja, own a parrot and talk like a pirate, raise a dragon pet that poops hot coals, and ride a rainbow unicorn off into the sunset?
