246w ago - The Godfather II 'Don Control Walkthrough' for PS3 video is now available courtesy of GameTrailers.
It unveils an interesting feature coming to the EA franchise: Don Control. The multiplayer feature offers what looks to be an RTS-style control system where one person hosting an online match can place bets on the match (that will in turn carry over into the single-player campaign), issue commands to their human teammates (should they cooperate, that is) and follow individuals of their choosing from a third-person perspective.
The video's caption reads as follows: "If you've got what it takes, use Don Control and see the whole map."
Based on the video, it appears as though EA has taken the extra time afforded them by the game being pushed back to beef up a very different experience than what the single-player campaign offers.
262w ago - Home recently expanded adding in an additional 100,000 gamers. Although still in its closed BETA phase, Home is gearing up to soon be released in a public BETA phase in which (hopefully) anyone will have access to.
We have come across on YouTube a 20 minute PlayStation Home 1.0 walkthrough that shows off all the new spaces within Home. It even comes with commentary to answer so of the questions you may have while you're watching the video.

283w ago - Hello again, everyone! Very recently, we demonstrated a major new function enabled in PLAYSTATION 3 firmware v2.40: XMB access in-game. But that's only part of the story, as the next system software update also introduces the Trophy system to the PS3. This video demonstration shows the system in action.
Super Stardust HD, a PLAYSTATION Network-exclusive released in June 2007, will be the first game to leverage Trophies and will offer a variety of trophies. Trophy support in Super Stardust HD will be available for first-time users who purchase the game soon after firmware v2.40 is released, while those who previously purchased and downloaded the title will be prompted to install a free patch.
PS3 users can expect to see additional games bringing Trophies support to their feature sets through 2008 and beyond, providing even greater opportunity to showcase their accomplishments and compete with friends. The following first-party games are also slated to offer Trophy support:
BUZZ! Quiz TV
MotorStorm Pacific Rift
NBA 09 - PS3
