15w ago - Sony Social Media Senior Manager Sid Shuman posted up some videos today spotlighting Destiny's weapons and armor on PS4 dubbed Dressed to Kill below.

To quote: Last week, I shared my first PS4 hands-on experiences with Destiny, Bungie's ambitious social shooter.

In today's new video, weapons, armor, and loot are squarely in the crosshairs as lead designer Lars Bakken and community manager David Dague walk us through [Register or Login to view links]'s plans for galactic domination.

Destiny's arsenal is vast and varied: fire-spewing shotguns and head-melting fusion rifles coexist beside traditional pistols and rifles. Weapons span three broad categories: Primary (autorifles and hand cannons), Special (shotguns and sniper rifles), and Heavy (rockets and belt-fed machineguns).

There's plenty of variety within each category, too. The autorifle sub-category includes burst-fire pulse rifles, single-shot carbines, and an array of full-auto assault rifles that prove murderously effective at close range.

Despite the sprawling arsenal, Bungie's designers are taking pains...

Apotheon (PS4)

"Looking back, making our upcoming action sidescroller Apotheon in the visage of ancient Greek pottery seemed like an obvious choice. Everything is already there.

The 2D perspective, the awesome narrative and setting possibilities, heroes fighting monsters and magical goat-men with no pants... All we really had to do was figure out how to make the art on those pots move around and make it into an interesting game."

16w ago - Messhof LLC Co-founder Kristy Norindr posted up a video today announcing some sidescrolling competitive fencing action in Nidhogg on PS4 with details below.

To quote: Hello blogizens, we at [Register or Login to view links] are super excited to announce that [Register or Login to view links] is coming to PS4! The game has always been best played with gamepads, so we're pumped to be working with Sony on our newest release of Nidhogg.

We have the most fun playing Nidhogg in front of our TV with friends. Sharing a TV and controllers is way more comfortable than crowding around someone's desk and sharing a keyboard. Exclusive to the PS4 version, the built-in tournament mode now indicates your fencer's color on DualShock 4's light bar... how cool is that?!

When you're not hosting an awesome Nidhogg tournament at home, you can get some practice in by playing through the single-player training mode, which has a variety of AI personalities you can practice against. Of course, sometimes you want to play against a real human, so playing with your friends via PSN is going to be super sweet.

In the past few months we've been watching Twitch streamers play Nidhogg on...
