194w ago - It appears as though Capcom's big announcement has been leaked a day early... French Web site JV247.com claims that the big announcement is Super Street Fighter IV, and this version will sport characters including as T.Hawk and Juri.
"The source is apparently JV247, a French Web site, which claims an anonymous source revealed a couple of facts about the game - namely, that two of the new characters for the game are T.Hawk and Juri, the former a veteran of Super Street Fighter II, and the latter seemingly new.
We imagine we'll have more details tomorrow, but JV247 does note that it's unconfirmed as to whether this will be a new, seperate game, or whether it will be DLC. Or both. Or neither. Or, in fact, what systems it'll be coming to."

202w ago - Today Zen Studios Managing Director Zsolt Kigyossy has announced news of a ZEN Pinball Street Fighter Table.
To quote: I'm here to tell you there's a new table coming for ZEN Pinball. We've teamed up with Capcom and you guessed it, we're bringing the one and only Street Fighter franchise as the first expansion table for the newly released PSN exclusive ZEN Pinball.
As long time Street Fighter fans, we here at ZEN Studios are extremely excited about this collaboration and we can't wait to get this table out the door to all our fans!
To give you a little idea of what makes this table so unique, we've loaded it with all the iconic Street Fighter II characters that revolutionized the fighting genre, from Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and Guile to Sagat, Evil Ryu, Vega, Balrog and even M. Bison! The locations, missions, and even the tempo of the game capture the feel and look of the Street Fighter brand, so if you're a fan of the franchise you'll need to check this table out.
Right now we have a tentative release date scheduled for sometime in August 2009, and check out the official ZEN Pinball site for more details.
206w ago - When the "DLC" Costume Packs were announced for Street Fighter IV, gamers were irked to see something as basic and standard in fighting games as unlockable costumes being sold to them.
Adding onto the annoyance was that the suspected "DLC" only weighed in at 124 k/b leaving many to suspect Capcom was charging for content already on the disc.
To quote: The release of the PC version of Street Fighter IV confirms that the alternate costumes were already included on the retail disc to begin with and we have the proof.
Just to point out also, many of the unlockable costumes (minus the extra characters added in the console release) were already included in the arcade version of Street Fighter IV so they are not exactly new.
The PC version of Street Fighter IV seems to be ported from the Xbox 360 version, complete with fragments of left over code referring back to when T. Hawk and Dee Jay were planned.
On the retail disc, all the alternate costume files are in plain site in each characters folders.
216w ago - A few weeks back Capcom announced that Street Fighter IV's Championship Mode update will be available free of charge on April 24, 2009 for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 console.
As we all know, that date has passed but with only a few days delay the long-awaited Championship Mode is finally available!
To quote: The new mode offers players the chance to compete in five different grades of tournaments, meaning there is something for each skill level. Players will score Grade Points (GP) for tournament wins, and as a player GP total grows they'll be able to enter into more exclusive tournaments.
Winning a tournament will reward players with Championship Points (CP), a form of prize money. The higher the GP skill of the players in a particular tournament the bigger the CP prize. The new Replay mode will allow players to select and watch the best Championship Mode tournament Matches.
PlayStation Network: you can rate matches while you watch according to characteristics such as "awesome" or "funny." Replays are then ranked based on these vote ratings.
Xbox Live: instead of rating the matches, you can choose to download and save your favourite replays to study the players' techniques. You'll also be able to turn on the input commands from both players...
