Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault heads back to the classic camera, weapons and third-person Ratchet gameplay that the series is known for, while adding a new tower defense element that will have you building and defending a base against invasions using your ultimate Ratchet & Clank arsenal.

This new twist, added to the classic Ratchet gameplay, brings a whole new level of strategy and decision-making to Full Frontal Assault. You'll want to make sure your Hoverboots are laced up and ready as you race to defeat your enemy while keeping your base secure. Wait, Hoverboots don't have laces...

In Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, our heroes face a new nemesis - one who has a nasty surprise planned for Captain Qwark.

Below are the details, to quote: As the celebration of Ratchet & Clank's 10th Anniversary has unfolded this year, we've received your anxious e-mails, tweets and Facebook messages asking us when you can get your hands on the Ratchet & Clank Collection in North America.

Today, we can tell you the remaster of three original PS2 Ratchet & Clank games will be available at retailers and via PlayStation Network on August 28th for $29.99!

The Collection features 1080p HD remasters of three PS2 Ratchet & Clank classics: Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal.

In addition, these three games have Trophy and 3D support (in 720p), and the fine folks over at Idol Minds have restored online play to Up Your Arsenal.

At last, those who missed out on competitive R&C gameplay during the PS2 Network Adapter era can finally check it out!

To quote: I'm delighted to confirm that The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy has now gone gold and been delivered for manufacturing!

The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy will be released on Wednesday 27th June across Europe, Thursday 28th June in Australia and New Zealand, and Friday 29th June in the UK and Ireland.

To quote: The good people of Insomniac Games are preparing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ratchet & Clank, which is coming up later this year.

An HD remaster of our classic PS2 Ratchet & Clank games is something our fans have requested for a long time, and we're looking forward to granting their wishes this summer with the Ratchet & Clank Collection.

But we've also heard a lot of community requests to develop a new Ratchet & Clank game, one that returns to the classic third-person Ratchet & Clank camera.

We listened to your requests, and this holiday season Insomniac will release our new Ratchet & Clank game as part of our 10th Anniversary Celebration.

I'd like to officially announce that Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault will be coming soon to a PS3 near you.

To quote: It's amazing that it's been almost 10 years since the release of the original Ratchet & Clank on PlayStation 2.

A lot has changed since 2002, but your loyalty to our furry Lombax and his faithful robot companion has endured. As we reach the 10th Anniversary of Ratchet & Clank, we wanted to commemorate the achievements of the Ratchet & Clank saga.

Today, we're delighted to announce the Ratchet & Clank 10th Anniversary Celebration, which also simultaneously addresses the biggest current request from our fans: The Ratchet & Clank Collection. This will contain Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal - all remastered by Idol Minds, working closely with our team at Insomniac Games.
