Metro 2033 & Metro: Last Light Redux: Two Games, 1080p on PS4

9w ago - Today 4A Games Studio Rep Bi50N posted up a PlayStation 4 video of Metro Redux proclaiming that the title is two games (Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux) and in 1080p on PS4!

To quote: I could say how excited we are to be showing you this trailer, but I have an idea of what you really want to know... so let's just cut to the chase. Metro Redux runs at 1080p, 60FPS on PlayStation 4.

We had to sneak the PS4 development kits into Kiev to make it happen, but we wholeheartedly think it was worth it... Metro Redux includes Metro 2033 (for the first time ever on a PlayStation platfrom) and Metro: Last Light, remastered for PlayStation 4, with all the gameplay, AI, gunplay, and graphical improvements we added in Last Light now applied to both games.





You'll be able to download each game - Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux - from PSN for just $24.99 each - or if you prefer, pick up the boxed Metro Redux double pack for only $50.

Hello again! We're back with another blog post; this time we thought we'd talk about one of the new things we're most happy with in N++: the graphics.

One of the main inspirations for the look of N++ was print-based graphic design: bold, smooth blocks of color with crisp, sharp edges.

We wanted something that looked and felt different from other games - something simple but refined. In order to make this vision a reality, we needed two things: a style, and the technology necessary to support it.

We at [Register or Login to view links] have always loved graphic design, especially in print. In fact, we have a rather large library of design books we frequently pore over.

It has always been a dream of ours to work with one of our favorite designers, and - thanks in part to Sony's support via the Pub Fund program - we were able to finally realize this dream with N++, and team up with graphic designer MASA. We became aware of MASA through a book called 'Latino', released in the early 2000s by our favorite publisher, [Register or Login to view links].

The Witness on PS4: New PlayStation 4 Development Details Out

To quote: The Witness is a game where you explore an abandoned island and solve puzzles. We've been working on this game for a long time (It's been more than five years since I began working on it, myself!

The rest of the team joined at various times after that.). We don't know the release date yet; it's still officially "when it's done," but these days "when it's done" is getting closer and closer.

The Witness is an ambitious game with a lot of things for us to get right, and getting it right takes time; I don't want to rush the game out at the cost of quality.

Here are some of the things we've been working on lately:

• Design. All the gameplay along the "main line" of the game - the stuff you would expect to do from the beginning to the end of a standard playthrough - is done. But, this is a game that has a lot of extra things for players who are really into the game and want more; we're still designing some of those extras.

11w ago - VizionEck Founder and Lead Developer Michael Armbrust announced via Sony's blog today that VizionEck PS4 is coming to PlayStation 4 with details and a video trailer below.

Did you catch that? Yes, our studio and our studio's first game have matching names. VizionEck is making VizionEck. So what is VizionEck (the game)?

The announcement trailer has a lot of secrets and game features hidden in it. If you didn't put the clues together, I'll help you out with some of the basics. VizionEck is technically an FPS. It has very little in common with the traditional FPS though. In the game you play as a Ranger - essentially just a cube.

He's pretty simplistic in design, isn't he? VizionEck's art-style is focused on being clean and elegant. We really love the prospect of making a game that's mathematically "exact." Almost everything follows a strict set of rules. The resulting world feels extremely harmonious 99% of the time.
