141w ago - VidZone's Head of Production Ben Creasey has shared news of an exclusive behind the scenes with Manic Street Preachers for PS3 fans.

To quote: You know the Manic Street Preachers, everybody does, right? Well they are back and they are on usual blistering top form.

The new single "(It's Not War) Just The End Of Love" is taken from their 10th... Yes 10th! Studio album "Postcards From A Young Man" and guess what... We have an exclusive video from behind the scenes of the shooting of the single's video!

So what you should probably do... and this is just a suggestion... but I think a good suggestion... is... Go check out both the video then the behind the scenes footage then all the other Manics videos (of which we have loads!) on VidZone.

Then wait until the 13th of September and buy the single, then the week after on the 20th of September, Go buy the album. Then I'm sure there will be a tour... so you can go see them live.

143w ago - VidZone's Head of Production Ben Creasey has revealed today that the exclusive Underworld - Always Loved A Film video is heading to Sony's PS3 entertainment system.

To quote: Do I need to introduce Underworld? I would like to think that I don't. They aren't just the ones that did that one that went "Lager lager lager shouting"; they are producers that have shaped the dance music scene for the last 25 years, albeit with a couple of breaks here and there.

So, we have the exclusive of their new video, Always Loved a Film, and I have to say the whole office is a fan of this video. Imagine footage of your local skate park attendees but with a twist; to find out the twist, well you can probably see from the screen grabs, but get yourself over to VidZone to check... it... out.

The track is from their new album, Barking, which is out on the 13th of September and is destined to be quite a smash with collaborations with everyone from Mark Knight to High Contrast.

143w ago - Recently Sony revealed some exclusive extras for PlayStation Plus members including Mushroom Wars/2Xtreme and PlayStation Protection Plan Discounts, and today PlayStation Network Product Manager James Thorpe has outlined more!

To quote: Back again just to let you know that we have managed to secure another early demo for PS Plus members.

From the 25th August, Plus members will have early access to the latest demo of R.U.S.E.

This is exclusive to Plus members until the 1st Sept, when the demo will be available on the Store.

As with the last demo, you will be able to download this from the Plus section of the Store or you will get it via Automatic Downloads if you have this feature switched on.

144w ago - Creative Director Marcus Smith has officially confirmed today at GamesCom 2010 that Resistance 3 from Insomniac Games is coming exclusively to PS3 alongside a video teaser!

To quote: Wearing my new hat as the Creative Director on Resistance 3, I wanted to stop by and finally announce the game that Kombo.com has dubbed, "the worst-kept secret in gaming."

We were very excited to finally OFFICIALLY announce Resistance 3 at the PlayStation press conference at gamescom in Cologne, Germany. While we aren't revealing too much at this time, we did want to share this live-action teaser that should set the mood for what's to come.





We won't be gone for too long -- the team has been hard at work over the last two years developing Resistance 3, and we're excited to have extra time to ensure that this game lives up to the expectations we've all got for it.
