162w ago - Today SSX Creative Director Todd Batty has shared an E3 2011 video detailing the use of NASA satellite maps to create new SSX runs and footage of the PS3-exclusive Mount Fuji level!

In the early days of this project, there was a lot of debate internally at [Register or Login to view links] about how many SSX fans still existed and how much interest remained in the market for games like SSX, and even some of the games we have taken further inspiration from such as Burnout and old-school Tony Hawk.

The huge reaction to our launch trailer at the [Register or Login to view links]'s was the first indication that the SSX fan base was still very much alive and as passionate as ever, but actually meeting some of these people and seeing their reaction to what we are building first-hand was truly inspirational.

173w ago - Today Virtua Tennis 4 Brand Manager David Kempshall has shared some videos on the game's upcoming Virtua Tennis 4 exclusive PS3 Tennis content.

To quote: Firstly let me introduce myself to those of you who don't know me. My name is David Kempshall and I'm the Brand Manager for Virtua Tennis 4 and have worked on the game since the original version became available in 1999 on arcade machines across the world.

This is the first of a series of blogs about Virtua Tennis 4, which is out on May 10th, but I'd like to start with a few words about the big earthquake that hit Japan on March 11.

Sony Unveils 20 Exclusive Games Heading to PS3 in 2011

184w ago - Today Sony's Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has unveiled 20 exclusive PS3 games heading to the PlayStation 3 entertainment system in 2011.

To quote: Nearly every major PlayStation series is making an appearance in 2011 – even Kratos is in on the action with his guest turn in the new [Register or Login to view links].

Add third-party publisher PS3 exclusives and upcoming PSN games and upcoming PlayStation Move games and you've got a 2011 that's jam-packed with PS3-exclusive titles.

Here's an updated list of 20 games you'll only play on PS3 in 2011, using the latest publicly available information. Of course, schedules can shift and plans can change – as always, we'll keep you posted. For the moment, though, this is where we stand for 2011.

Video: Tetris PSN in 1080p and 5.1 with PS3-Exclusive Multiplayer

189w ago - EA Mobile Senior Producer Christophe Gomez has posted up a new video today spotlighting Tetris PSN in 1080p and 5.1 with PS3-exclusive multiplayer action!

To quote: We are launching Tetris on PlayStation Network and it'll be available to download from the PSN store in very early next year.

This version of Tetris boasts 5.1 Dolby Sound, 1080P HD graphics, plus six online and local multiplayer modes.

Of course, you can play Marathon mode by yourself in the boldest and brightest graphics ever, but what we're really excited about are three new PS3-exclusive multiplayer modes that will make this a must-have.

I can't go into much detail, but these new online, real-time multiplayer modes will be more fun and competitive than anything you've seen before.





A couple of weeks ago Alexi Pajitnov, the original creator of Tetris, got to try out this new PS3 version and absolutely loved it. And since we know how excited you are, we have a trailer ready to showcase just how awesome this gets.

Ubisoft Unveils Assassins Creed Brotherhood PS3-Exclusive DLC

To quote: Today, our friends at [Register or Login to view links] shared with us details of Copernicus Conspiracy, a free, PS3-exclusive download for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

This additional content revolves around Renaissance astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus (see what I did there?), who will have extra assignments for Ezio, including courier, assassination and protection missions.

The missions are part of a storyline involving a conspiracy against Copernicus and his [Register or Login to view links], which was revolutionary at the time.

The Copernicus Conspiracy content will be available for free download on November 16, 2010, which happens to be the day Assassin's Creed Brotherhood launches for PlayStation 3.
