To quote: Recently I have read Wololo's article "Best PSP/Vita Homebrew for November 2013" and noticed that my quite old "SKFU's VITA Pr0xy" is still being used by many people.
Sadly I kinda' missed to release an updated version of my proxy software anytime. Thanks to the great feedback for my old proxy, here comes the very new one: "SKFU's Pr0xy".
I did remove the "VITA" from it's name since it changed a lot after the release of my old proxy server software, I don't want people to think it is a limited to PSV piece of software. It definitely is not!
But what it is and what it got:
The most user-friendly Windows Pr0xy

5w ago - Following up on the previous announcement, today Sony has released an official PlayStation Vita TV FAQ with many questions answered below.
To quote: Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia just released an extensive FAQ for the PlayStation Vita TV, answering a lot of common, and some not so common questions about the upcoming hardware.
Of course the FAQ is fully in Japanese, as the PS Vita still doesn’t have a western release date, but since many are hungry for more information on the lovely little device that Sony is so cruelly keeping away from our greedy western hands, I included a full translation below.
Q: Do I need the PlayStation Vita to play with the PlayStation Vita TV?
A: You don’t need the PlayStation Vita to play with the PlayStation Vita TV, however there are a few things you do need.
Monitor or TV – HDMI Input required.
Wireless Controller DualShock 3.
Internet connection is necessary to use various kinds of content and video services and some games.
5w ago - The Fyzz Facility Head of Mobile Manager Robert Karp confirmed today that Backgammon Blitz is coming to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita this Winter.
Below are the details, to quote: Hi! I'm Rob Karp. You may remember me from my role as producer at XDev Studio, where I worked on a number of Sony's first-party games over the years.
Today I want to tell you about my latest venture, which is coming to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita this winter. It's called Backgammon Blitz, and it's a game I'm pumped for.
Backgammon has been played for centuries by gamers young, old, and ancient. It appears to be a simple game about getting your checkers around the board before your opponent, but has immense layers of depth and strategy to it.
I'm just the messenger, of course. The talented folks behind this lovely little title are VooFoo Studios. Having made a name for themselves with Hustle Kings and Pure Chess, Backgammon feels like a step onwards and upwards for the studio, taking all of their strengths (gorgeous art design, a subtle but stylish approach to UI) and none of their weaknesses (cake night every Friday) into the next generation of platforms.
The team are so keen to whet your appetite for the world of backgammon that they're offering a trial version of the game that'll teach you the...
5w ago - XSeed Localization Specialist Tom Lipschultz posted up a video today announcing that Ys: Memories of Celceta is coming to PS Vita on November 26th, 2013.
To quote: It's Thanksgiving weekend. Your whole family is in a tryptophan-induced coma from eating too much turkey. But you? You ate nothing but pumpkin pie, so you're still wide awake.
Fortunately, you've got your trusty Vita on hand, along with a copy of the Ys: Memories of Celceta Silver Anniversary Edition, which launches on November 26th. So while your in-laws all dream of sugarplums and dandelions, you'll be off exploring the Great Forest and saving the world from evil yet again.
The latest installment in Nihon Falcom's 25 year-old RPG franchise, Ys: Memories of Celceta, is a complete reimagining of the series' legendary fourth installment. To make a long story short(ish), Ys IV is a game that's been published in Japan three times previously - and all were completely different games that were developed independently by different companies.
Despite each one introducing and greatly expounding upon some of the franchise's most pivotal lore, Falcom never actually created their own version of the game... until now.
And in keeping with tradition, this is no mere remake. The story is brand new, and the land...
5w ago - Following up on the release of PS Vita Firmware 3.00, today some video footage of a VHBL and Hello World for PS Vita FW 3.00 appeared alongside a PlayStation Vita 2.61 Firmware VHBL Exploit by Frostegater with details below.
To quote from Acid_Snake via Wololo: The game exploits patched by Vita FW 3.00, and how this will impact future VHBL/TN-V releases
You may have heard of different naughty surprises that came with firmware 3.00, and you may ask what the hell this has to do with me? you may also wonder about the future of VHBL and TN-V4, I’m gonna tap on that here, but I’m also gonna explain why I think Sony has made a huge dumb mistake.
