Project PNM PS3 NOR Manager Schematics and More Arrive

154w ago - Following up on his previous update, today Sony PlayStation 3 hacker No_One has made available some PDF documentation that details how Project PNM PS3 NOR Manager works including schematics, explanations, a bill of materials (BOM), and diagrams.

  • A virtual SOCKET #3 to access (Read/Write) the PS3 NOR (on motherboard itself) It will give the ability to manage what others flashers around do without removing the embedded NOR.

RPCS3 PS3 Disassembler / Emulator for PC Project is Announced

157w ago - Today chrisbdk announced via DemonHades that Spanish PlayStation 3 homebrew developer rpcs3 is working on a PS3 Disassembler / Emulator PC project called RPCS3 with the current source code available below.

To quote, roughly translated: Well then apparently someone has the job of making a PS3 emulator for PC. An now is in the process (to not get excited) only a disassembler.

NOTE: Do not expect to launch a game or homebrew or anything, just are in test mode.

PlayStation 3 RPCS3 emulator open source to run on PCs with Windows OS. For now only a de-assembler PS3, although in recent deliveries have been able to implement ELF compiler.

Currently the official site ProgSkeet.com doesn't offer any details beyond the ProgSkeet PS3 Install Diagrams and ProgSkeet Multi-Console Install Diagrams, however, he did provide some pictures (below, with high-res HERE) of the ProgSkeet device and the ProgSkeet Drivers, ProgSkeet Flasher Software and ProgSkeet Flasher Software Update followed by some more updates in THIS ongoing Forum thread.

Video: Nintendo Wii U (Project Cafe) and Launch Games Detailed

163w ago - Today Nintendo held their [Register or Login to view links] Press Conference and unveiled the upcoming Nintendo Wii U (Project Cafe) console alongside Wii U pictures, launch game details and video footage.

The Wii U controller includes everything from motion sensing to analogue sticks and a touch screen. Wii U will allow gamers to play either on their TV screen, on the controller.. or both.
