2w ago - Capcom's Brett Elston announced today that Mega Man X5 is out now on PlayStation Store with details below.

To quote: Last week we finally brought Mega Man X4 to PlayStation Store.

This beloved entry in the X series can be found on both PS3 and Vita online shops, enabling fans to rediscover - or perhaps play for the first time - one of the greatest action games of the PSone era. But we have even more good news - Mega Man X5 is also available today!

Both classic titles are $5.99 and represent some of 2D gaming's finest work. If you missed these back in the day, it's a great time to jump in and find out why so many fans continue to hold both titles in such high regard. And with both available on Vita, you can play them anywhere!

If you're in the mood for even more classic Mega Man goodness, check out Mega Man 1~4 in the PS imports section - they're also playable on PS3 or PS Vita!

2w ago - Sony Senior Brand Marketing Manager Anand Agarwal revealed details today on their new PlayStation headsets, which are compatible with Destiny Audio as outlined below.

To quote: This holiday season is right around the corner, which means a whole slate of amazing PS4 games are set to launch in the next few months, including Destiny (Tomorrow!), Driveclub, NBA 2K15, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Far Cry 4, and LittleBigPlanet 3.

That means you're probably going to be spending a lot of time with your PS4, right? This fall we've got a great lineup of new headsets and DualShock 4 colors to give you exactly what you need while you're gaming.

I personally can't wait to play Destiny on the brand new Glacier White PS4. This new color is available exclusively as part of the [Register or Login to view links] which hits stores tomorrow, September 9th.

Starting tomorrow, you'll also be able to get the Glacier White DualShock 4 and the extremely limited edition Glacier White version of the Gold Wireless Stereo Headset, which will only be available for a short time while supplies last.

We also have an exclusive Destiny audio mode that will be...

New Sony PlayStation and PSN Games for September 9, 2014

50°
2w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements is here with the new PlayStation and PSN games for the upcoming week today, as follows:

We've been waiting for this one, friends. At last, the Guardians of the Tower are rising to face the darkness spreading across the frontier. It's time to gear up in Bungie's latest science-fiction opus as Destiny launches this Tuesday for PS4 and PS3.

In Destiny, players defend the last city on Earth from an encroaching threat, using astounding weaponry and ancient power to dispatch the enemies of humanity. Destiny fuses the thrill of a first-person shooter with the loot-hunt of classic RPGs and the social togetherness of an MMO.

Traverse forgotten ruins, forge new friendships, sail the black sky, and build an armory worthy of legend. And PlayStation gamers have exclusive access to guns, gear, ships, and multiplayer maps along the way. So pack a nice lunch - interstellar travel lasts a long time.

Destiny: Preload on PlayStation 4 Now and Prepare for Tuesday

50°
2w ago - Sony Network Entertainment VP Eric Lempel invites PS4 fans to preload Destiny on PlayStation 4 now to prepare for it's release this coming Tuesday.

To quote: Hi everybody - Since we're just days away from the launch of [Register or Login to view links] on PS4 and PS3, I wanted to let you know that the game is now available for pre-load on PlayStation Store in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.

This means if you've pre-ordered Destiny digitally via PlayStation Store, you'll be able to begin downloading the game on PS4 or PS3 starting now. Once you've downloaded the game, you'll be ready for the official Destiny launch this Tuesday, September 9th.

Here are your options for pre-loading Destiny:

• Take no action; Destiny will begin automatically downloading, provided that "auto-download" has been enabled on your PS4 or PS3. Over the next few days, your system will check for updates and the game will begin downloading by Monday, in time for the release on Tuesday.

• If you can't wait until then, you can enable the download manually. In PlayStation Store, navigate to the Destiny game page and click the "download" button. If you haven't yet preordered, you can preorder and then begin downloading.

Video: Slender: The Arrival is Coming to PS3 on September 23rd

50°
2w ago - Blue Isle Studios Founder and Creative Director Alex Tintor announced today alongside a PlayStation 3 video trailer that Slender: The Arrival is coming to PS3 on September 23rd, 2014.

To quote: September 20th, 2012 was a day that changed everything for the tiny company I started out of my bedroom; Blue Isle Studios.

On that day we announced Slender: The Arrival was in development as the official follow-up to Mark Hadley's insanely popular viral hit, Slender: The Eight Pages.

It only seems fitting, nearly two years later, to announce that the game will finally launch on September 23rd for PS3!

As a bonus, we've added a bunch of brand new content to the game. The game is now bigger than ever with new levels, new characters, and more stories to uncover.

Over the past two years we've gotten literally thousands of messages from Playstation fans asking us to bring the game to PS3. We knew it would be a lot of hard work, but we totally agreed. The ultimate Slender Man experience had to be from the comfort of your living room on a big screen TV.

As soon as we experienced this for ourselves we knew we had to share this with all of you. While most would recommend you play the game...
