35w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements is here with the new PlayStation 3 and PSN releases for the upcoming week today, as follows:

The balance of global power has shifted. You're outnumbered and outgunned. Your nation's borders have fallen, and opposing powers have moved in to devastate an already crippled land.

It's another tremendous week in the world of PlayStation, as Call of Duty: Ghosts brings this visually spectacular story to PS3 - along with a world-renowned multiplayer suite.

In Call of Duty: Ghosts, you'll join a small team of special forces known only as "Ghosts," and work to survive insurmountable odds thrown against you. And just like the Call of Dutys before it, Ghosts comes packed with huge multiplayer support for all the first-person shooter fans out there just itching to dive into the competition.

Joining Call of Duty: Ghosts are a number of other games for all types of gamers. Build and destroy complex fortresses in CastleStorm, or brave the quirky story and addictive strategy found in The Guided Fate Paradox.

With such a broad array of options this week, you might as well build a couch fort and prepare to undertake a hermit lifestyle. It's the only way.

36w ago - SideQuest Studios CEO Marcus Pukropski announced today alongside a video that Rainbow Moon is coming to PlayStation Vita on December 3rd.

Below are the details, to quote: After we released Rainbow Moon on PS3 last year, one of the most common questions we received was "Are you going to make a Vita version?"

Obviously we weren't the only ones that believed Rainbow Moon would make a great experience for handheld platforms, and with demand being so high, we set about working on a Vita port almost immediately.

For those of you not already familiar with Rainbow Moon, we've put together a new trailer. You can also find a few of our older blog posts explaining the game in more detail [Register or Login to view links].

Something that was really important to us from the beginning was using our own engine to ensure a solid 60 FPS, and a robust game with little to no loading times. After months of hard work, we're happy to announce that Rainbow Moon Vita is coming to PlayStation Store on December 3rd!

As a result of all the amazing feedback from Rainbow Moon fans around the world, more than 30 new features, improvements, and bug fixes found their way into Rainbow...

To quote: It's going to be quite the month for PlayStation fans. PS4 is almost here, and it's going to be mega awesome when I fire mine up for the first time and already have two free games to play.

Yep, both Resogun, the intense and beautiful shoot 'em up from Housemarque(the amazing people behind Super Stardust) and Contrast, a unique 2D/3D puzzler platformer with a stunning art style will be available in the Instant Game Collection for PlayStation Plus members on November 15th.

Of course, we have plenty of other great games to keep you busy until then, like Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, which is an expanded and enhanced version of Capcom's original IP Dragon's Dogma. There's a new area to explore, a fast-travel system and plenty of new quests and weapons to keep you busy.

Later on this month we'll add ibb & obb, a 2-player co-op puzzler and Binary Domain, a third-person squad shooter. PS Vita owners can look forward to two amazing action-adventure titles: the classic Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath and the ever-epic Soul Sacrifice.
