3w ago - Aksys Games Marketing Manager Russell Iriye announced today that Mind Zero is coming to PlayStation Vita on May 27th, 2014 alongside a PS Vita video trailer below.

To quote: Greetings friends! Russell here from Aksys Games. Today, we announced that our newest title from Acquire and Zero Div will be hitting PS Vita on May 27th!

To celebrate, we've updated the Mind Zero website to give you a full rundown of the game, as well as posted a trailer. Mind Zero is a first-person dungeon crawler where you fight with your MINDs (literally and figuratively). We're here today to touch upon the story and get into a bit more details about the battle mechanics of Mind Zero.

Kei is a normal high school student until his life turns upside down when he forms a contract with a MIND, a weapon/being with deadly powers. With the government and other forces trailing him and his friends, Kei will need to discover the secret behind MIND before it's too late. Suspenseful stuff, right?

When you battle it out against the various other MINDs in the game, you'll have a choice to duke it out by yourself, use your MIND, or do a bit of both. There lies the challenge and fun of Mind Zero. Not only will you have to think about protecting yourself, but your MIND as well.

3w ago - Defiant Development Associate Producer Kim Allom revealed today that Hand of Fate is coming to PS4 and PS Vita platforms with details below.

To quote: Salutation, PlayStation! The team members at Defiant Development are thrilled to announce that our Kickstarter-funded, tabletop roguelike deck builder, Hand of Fate, will be coming to PS4 and PS Vita.

For those of you who haven't heard of Hand of Fate, it's a roguelike that blends tabletop card gaming and video game magic. Inspired by tarot and fantasy, all bets are off as you create your own journey by building a collection of cards used to deal out a boardgame-like dungeon teeming with enemies, treasure, and adventure. Upon entering combat, the cards come to life as the player is propelled into a beautiful 3D environment to brawl it out with foes. Draw your cards, play your hand, and discover your fate.

Being a roguelike, Hand of Fate's strength is its nearly endless combination of cards and ways to play. The deck builder lets you determine a mix of combat, chance, and equipment cards for your deck before you set out on your quest. Equipment selection ramps up replayability as the player is introduced to a slew of artifacts, weapons, and armor that modify gameplay. The player has the freedom to choose their cards, but how and when they...

Your First Look at Fire-fighting Roguelike Flame Over on PS Vita

50°
3w ago - Laughing Jackal Senior Producer Alasdair Evans shared a first look at fire-fighting roguelike Flame Over on PS Vita.

To quote: Hi everyone. I'm Al, Producer at Laughing Jackal and project lead on our latest game, Flame Over for PlayStation Vita.

We initially revealed we were working on Flame Over back in August 2013 but after that, all communication ceased (for which I offer my apologies.) Needless to say, tons of stuff has happened since then, so here's a reminder of what you can expect when the game is released later this year!

Flame Over is a fire-fighting action roguelike, featuring randomly generated levels, twin stick controls, fast-paced gameplay, permadeath and dynamic fire that burns, spreads and threatens the player (and other NPCs) in some cool ways.

Your objective in Flame Over is simple. Just guide your heroic fire fighter, Blaze Carruthers, up through the floors of the Infernal Industries building in London, extinguishing all fires and rescuing all the stranded workers and - naturally - their pet cats as you go.

As you guide Blaze through this mazelike building on your quest to put out the deadly inferno and save the day, you'll move through four different zones, each with their own unique features and hazards.

On top of its original...

3w ago - Sega of America Associate Brand Manager Aaron Webber announced today that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd is coming to PS3 and PS Vita in North America.

To quote: Following a fantastic reception to the PS3 and PS Vita release of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F in North America and Europe, SEGA is proud to announce that we will be bringing Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd to the West later this year!

That's right. You're not dreaming. We believed in all of you and we asked for your support - and you gave it to us without reservation. It was your supportive comments, your encouraging words at every place we showed the game, and your drive that made all the difference.

Some of you bought the game twice - others three or even four times. But whether you picked it up once or four times, all of you helped make Miku a success, and still do. Thank you so much for that.

Now, it's our turn to believe in you once more.

This fall, we will be releasing Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd for both PS3 and PS Vita. Project Diva F 2nd features similar but improved gameplay over the first game, with a whopping 40 songs - a collection of the best new songs, and some of the most loved classic songs, previously...
