26w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli announced that The Last of Us Abandoned Territories Map Pack and PS3 Patch 1.05 officially arrive tomorrow.

You can buy the Abandoned Territories Map Pack for £7.99/€9.99 stand-alone or, if you're looking for a great value, the map pack is included in the £15.99/€19.99 The Last of Us Season Pass.

We recently detailed our future plans for all Season Pass DLC and the 75% savings you'll get by purchasing one. The Season Pass will be available for a limited time so grab it via the PlayStation Store or at your local game retailer today.

We've also patched certain aspects of the game. In fact we re-doubled our patch version 1.04 efforts decided to skip straight to 1.05. You can hear about the major changes via Patch 1.05 in this video:

Sony Reminds Fans: Last Chance to Pre-Order Beyond: Two Souls

29w ago - Sony Product Manager Ross Alexander reminds fans today that it is your last chance to pre-order Beyond: Two Souls.

To quote: There's little more than a week left to pre-order Beyond: Two Souls at GameStop for your bonus upgrade to the Special Edition.

The steelbook Special Edition will feature the additional "Advanced Experiments" playable scene. In this scene, you'll test your rapid problem-solving skills as you guide Jodie and the mysterious entity Aiden through a series of tough training missions.

Over the course of 30 minutes of additional play, you'll determine your ability to use your brain while keeping an ice-cool head in high-pressure situations - all while helping Jodie and Aiden collaborate to solve puzzles.

Furthermore, the Special Edition will include the soundtrack comprising the four main themes from Beyond, and four exclusive making-of videos featuring Writer/Director David Cage, along with actors Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe.

Naughty Dog Details The Last of Us: Future PS3 DLC Plans

To quote: We've been hard at work making the DLC content for The Last of Us - and I know that all our Season Pass holders are eagerly waiting for any updates or news. Today, we're revealing the first of three Season Pass DLC drops: the Abandoned Territories Map Pack.

Weather the opposing Faction and the random, dynamic dust storm on the Suburbs map. Explore a layered map of an overgrown urban environment with wild giraffes in the background in the Bus Depot map. Stalk around in a dark, eerie, moonlit, environment - the perfect setting for some serious stealth - in the Hometown map.

Bookstore features a stacked, bi-level layout adding a highly unique dose of vertical gameplay. Excited yet? These maps will be available October 15.

When we initially talked about the Season Pass we mentioned making our first ever story-driven single player DLC. This is an ambitious story with strong ties into the narrative of The Last of Us.

We just wrapped up a long casting process for a new character, and we're starting our performance capture...

29w ago - Naughty Dog Creative Director Neil Druckmann posted up a video today spotlighting The Last of Us: Outbreak Day and an alternate ending on PS3 below.

To quote: So today is September 26th, 2013. That's a special date for us. It's the day the Cordyceps outbreak hit critical mass in the world of The Last of Us.

We at Naughty Dog are celebrating by sharing some crazy tweets in regards to the outbreak. Join us in describing your experience (real or not) of how you'd survive the pandemic.

Tweet with the hashtag #OutbreakDay. We'll be retweeting the most creative tweets throughout the day.

To further celebrate the occasion, we have something fun we've been dying to share with you. It is our honor to show you the "alternate" ending for the game - with a slight twist.

We originally only showed this video at this year's PAX Prime, but now it's time for everyone to see it. We think you'll enjoy it.

The Last of Us Art Prints Out, Development Series Episode 6 Debuted

To quote: The amount of work and artistry that went into the concept art behind The Last of Us is remarkable.

We wanted to celebrate the hard work our concept art team puts into their pieces, and our last episode in The Last of Us Development Series does just that.
