105w ago - Following up on our previous update, today I-Friqiya Executive Producer Skander Djerbi has shared a new video confirming that Fuel Overdose roars into action on PSN next week!

To quote: This is Skander Djerbi, executive producer of the half-Japanese, half-gaijin indie production [Register or Login to view links] for PlayStation 3 on PSN. The game launches on 21st December, and a demo is available right now.

Our previous post focused on the racing gameplay pillar. Today we will talk about the 'action' aspect of the game, introducing all the cool gameplay mechanics that you can use against your opponents to attack, defend and counter-attack. Have a look in the new trailer below.

From the interview, to quote: If, like me, you grew up in the late '80s and early '90s it's likely that Ron Gilbert is responsible for many of your formative gaming experiences.

While at LucasArts he was responsible for a red-hot run of bona fide adventure game classics, including Maniac Mansion, Zak McKraken and the beloved Monkey Island series.

In January, he returns to the fray with The Cave, a delightful Sega-published 2D romp that, in true Maniac Mansion tradition, sees you picking three characters from a wildly diverse line-up of seven oddballs and descending into the titular caverns for all manner of puzzle-centric adventure.

From the brief section we've played, it's clear that Gilbert has lost none of his flair for fiendish puzzle design, barmy dialogue and madcap storytelling. It's shaping up to be a charming, challenging and wonderfully eccentric title that will both delight his core fans while being accessible enough to win plenty of new ones.

Below are the details, to quote: Making the decision to develop an entry of the DJMAX TECHNIKA franchise for PlayStation Vita was something of a no-brainer.

The arcade game is known for its stylish cabinet, high-definition background videos, and innovative touch-screen game play. PS Vita is known for its stylish design, high-definition graphics, and innovative dual touch control scheme. Everything seems to line up, until you realize that the gameplay experience on a 22" touch screen has to be re-created for a handheld platform.

If you're not familiar with the DJMAX TECHNIKA arcade franchise, at its core it plays like most other arcade music games. It has a dedicated control interface used to activate "notes" in as accurate timing with the music as possible.

In TECHNIKA's case the game uses two sets of four horizontal lanes with a timing line that scrolls clockwise on the screen. Even on the 22" arcade monitor, the play field takes up nearly all of the real estate out of necessity.

112w ago - Following up on my PoC Demo and the recent Paintown Special CFW 4.21 update by markus95, today I am releasing the PS3 homebrew game Resident Evil Operation Paintown along with a video of it in action below!

Ever wondered what the Resident Evil series would've been like had it been put out on the Snes or Megadrive ? Well ponder no more as I have answered that ultimate question with this.

I have put a load of hours into this, roughly 12 hours a day for 3 weeks and had no help from anyone (even though I did message someone who didn't bother to message me back) If I get a big enough response from this one I shall start work on a ''Aliens'' one with marines, pulse riffles, power loaders, etc, etc
