134w ago - SCEE Blog Manager James Gallagher has shared a video today revealing what's under the bonnet in the Gran Turismo 5 Signature Edition for PS3.
To quote: If you haven't already seen something similar from a popular UK retailer *shakes fist* then here is a sneak peek of what you can expect from that glorious moment, seconds after the postman has arrived on 24 November, when you lift the lid on your GT5 Signature Edition.
We shot this video as soon as the first delivery of Signature Editions arrived at SCEE HQ and, before you ask, no I haven't played the game yet. I argued that I should get to keep it, seeing as I've already taken the box out of its plastic and breathed my DNA all over it, but that didn't seem to work.
If anybody else thinks that I should keep that Signature Edition, fight for me in the comments. YES WE CAN!
Edit: as FULLMETAL56 pointed out in the comments, you can win your own Signature Edition by entering the competition at eu.playstation.com/psn/competitions.

According to the NFO File, the following important note states: "To play the game you need to spoof your fw as 3.5 with one of the payloads available in net."
There is also now another scene release named Gran.Turismo.5.EUR.JB.PS3-PEMA in which the NFO File states the following: "Spoofed firmware 3.5 required" and under Install Notes: "Unrar files and copy gamedir dir to external harddrive or use some PS3 FTP server. Files must be placed in the GAMEZ folder."
Although there have been a few reports of it working they are unconfirmed thus far, with most currently reporting getting a black screen...
135w ago - Today Senior Vice President Peter Dille of Marketing & PlayStation Network has shared a new GT5 PS3 promo video with Kevin Butler entitled It Only Does Revolutionary Racing Experiences.
To quote: In just six short days, the franchise that revolutionized the racing category as we know it will be making its exclusive debut on PlayStation 3. Gran Turismo 5 will be racing onto store shelves this coming Wednesday, November 24.
This highly anticipated installment will no doubt raise the bar on the franchise's unparalleled graphics, presentation and gameplay - bringing you an experience so life-like you'll find it hard to distinguish from a live race.
While we think features such as the all-new Course Maker, an expansive online racing community built right in, stereoscopic 3D compatibility and more than 1,000 cars from the world's top manufacturers, including karts and select NASCAR cars, speak for themselves, we still couldn't resist giving one of our most anticipated and loved franchises the "Kevin Butler" treatment.
In this latest ad, we find Kevin Butler taking a call from a devoted Gran Turismo fan anxiously waiting for...

To quote: "The initial install size of Gran Turismo 5 on your PS3 HDD is going to be 6.4 GB. He also revealed that it takes about 40 minutes to install.
However, interestingly, he says that the game will continue to install and decompress data throughout the course of your playtime and the actual disk space taken by the game on your PS3 will be a lot more.
Kindly note that this installation is optional and you can play the game without doing this. It only requires 256 MB of your HDD if you decide against doing it but it's highly...
