To quote, roughly translated: Hello fellow for here I leave my bit for this firmware that has the potential juju. Based picker rebug author jjolano.

Selector is a QA or debug menu instead of using an addon for each menu I joined the two addon and you only have to choose. The interface is simple console like the way I do not know, reminds me of "Startpatch" of the Wii still in line console mode.

It is in English if that change is Spanish for the people. Created PSL1GHT SDK. This slim JFW tested on my DH and all ok, not tested on fat. Notice that writes to the flash homebrew, I take responsibility for its misuse.

Functions:

  • Start button: QA mode
  • Button select: debug mode
  • Button x: we went to the PS3 menu

As stated in the logo only for JFW DH.

Video demonstration of their functioning:

As always, keep in mind these PUP updates will currently NOT install on a retail PS3, and so they are intended for examination and comparison purposes only.

We have 100% confirmed that running this updater on a retail PS3 will not damage it, however, it will give the following error before the installation completes: The data type is not supported. (8002F029)

DexL0ve PS3 Patched DEX LV2_Kernel.Self for CEX Consoles Arrives

129w ago - Following up on the previous update, this weekend PlayStation 3 homebrew development group DexL0ve have made available a PS3 patched DEX LV2_Kernel.Self for CEX consoles followed by a revision below that fixes PS3 crashing issues.

Essentially this PKG release is a patched LV2 DEX (Debug / Test) kernel for CEX (Retail) PS3 consoles based on the recent LV2 Loader release.

To quote: From my limited understanding of PS3 coding and reading the NFO file, that by using the LV2_Loader released by Team Rebug earlier, and by QA flag'ing your CEX machine, this file is basically a patched LV2 DEX kernel that will load fully on your CEX machine and thereby give you some DEX (aka) TEST machine L0VE on your Jailbroken PS3 Console.

MultiMAN v04.01.00 DEX Update Mod (20120204) PKG is Released

Above 1500°
129w ago - This weekend an anonymous PlayStation 3 developer has made available a MultiMAN v04.01.00 DEX Update Mod (20120204) PKG for those who own PS3 Debug / Test consoles and wish to enable game back-ups on it.

Download: [Register or Login to view links]

To quote: You need to install the mmCM v04.01.00 released yesterday first on your DEX, then run this UPD PKG to get multiMAN to now run & play games from your HDD

This makes the mmCM function as normal multiMAN on DEX machines running 3.55 just like on CEX, but of course without the Cobra exclusive functions!

Not much more can be said about this release, but it seems to work on QA flag'ed CEX machines also thanks to LV2_Loader and the previous dexl0ve posting
