Below are the details, to quote: Hi again, this is Sports Champions 2 Senior Producer, Jeremy Ray, and I'm super excited to finally let everyone know when Sports Champions 2 will be available here in the US - October 30th!
Since we're getting close, I've got a small update on the game for you.
We're giving the game one final coat of polish and squashing bugs right now, and I'm proud to say that we've surpassed many of our lofty internal goals. We can't wait until it's in your hands.
One example: the Avatar Creator feature has turned out so much better than we envisioned it. In fact, we are already starting to think about post-release support to make this feature even better - hopefully I'll be able to announce something on that after launch.
The creativity we've seen with the QA team on the avatar creator has been inspiring, and we're incredibly excited to see how much further the fans take it.
We are also getting a ton of great feedback on Skiing, Boxing, Tennis, Golf, Bowling, and the new Archery. Just...
70w ago - Codemasters Community Manager Ben Walke has confirmed today that Grid 2 will be roaring on PlayStation 3 in 2013 with details below, as follows:
Hey there everybody. Back in 2008 the team here at Codemasters released Race Driver: GRID, which set new standards for damage, AI and visuals, and introduced the Flashback rewind feature. All our hard work was recognised the following year when the game went on to win a BAFTA award.
And now it's time to unveil the sequel, due out in Summer 2013. One of the big talking points around the original GRID was the way the cars felt.
We've built on this for the follow-up with our new TrueFeel Handling System, which uses real physics to hit that sweet spot, ensuring that GRID 2 stays true to its predecessor and delivers exceptional handling throughout.
We can't talk about GRID 2 without mentioning the cars - in your garage there will be a selection of handpicked automotive icons spanning four decades and three continents; USA, Europe and Asia so no matter where you race you'll always be behind the wheel of something exceptional.
Talking of locations, you'll be visiting the likes of Paris, Abu Dhabi the California Coast and many more. Whether on beautiful city streets,...

75w ago - This weekend Atlus has confirmed that Persona 4 Arena will indeed be the first PS3 region-locked video game for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.
Up until now, all games (not Blu-ray movies) have been region-free on the PS3, however, the Atlus representative stated to EGM that "Persona 4 Arena will be region-locked in all territories on both PS3 and 360."
Sony developers have been able to region-lock PlayStation 3 games since PS3 Firmware update 3.30, although publishers didn't utilize the option until the PS3 3.50+ SDK.
From Atlus Staffer lol, forums via Forum to quote: "Sorry for the delayed confirmation, but yes, the PS3 version game will be region-locked. I certainly can't offer details as to why, but there might be an official response at some point.
To reiterate, our version of the game works for the North and South America regions. Also keep in mind that both the NA and JP versions have both English and Japanese text/voice options, making them nearly identical. I'm unsure of what the case will be for the EU version."

We are constantly searching for titles that bring interesting and unique experiences to the gaming community, and having the opportunity to present Datura to you is yet another huge honor.
Datura is the second offering from Plastic, a group of amazingly talented developers in Poland. This project started awhile back, after they released Linger in Shadows for the PS3, which was an interesting step for us as a studio.
We honestly weren't sure how the public would react to an interactive art house project, but our fears were soon laid to rest as our hunch that our gamer were a savvy bunch was proved correct.
In Datura, the player will experience an incredibly unique scenario. As you play Datura, you find yourself in a forest. As you explore this environment, you will be presented with different scenarios in which...
