This release comes from Dark_Kendox and FrEdDy, with a special thanks to Wololo, KiNgOfUnIvErS, psphakerwarrior, and Phantom91. Team ProjectXX kept this exploit on the d-low until some loudmouth ruined it.
Now it's likely the game will be pulled off PSN real quick, Sony will patch the exploit soon, and we're back at square one. So do yourself a favour: don't upgrade when Sony issues a new [useless] firmware update. With HBL in the works this exploit may serve a useful purpose for those currently running an unhackable PSP.
It works like this: Set your system language to English and copy the folder "ULES002810int" into PSP/SAVEDATA and h.bin to the root of your memory stick; run Splinter Cell Essentials, load the hacked save and press "Continue."
191w ago - Ubisoft have introduced a new service today for the title Splinter Cell: Conviction dubbed Splinter Cell Match.
Available at www.splintercell.com/match, it allows you to track your gaming stats - including Mission Progress, Challenge progression, Achievements, Session Logs and Leaderboards, as well as allowing you to compare these directly with other players.
To quote: "You will need an Ubisoft account that it tied to your Gamertag though, but surely that will be no hassle!
Alongside this, you are also able to use the site to matchmake yourself with a partner - allowing you not only to make new friends, but meet other people based on a number of parameters that you set and your current stats.
Such parameters include age, location, whether you want to use voice chat, what day's you usually play on and at what time, meaning that the site is able to search for people that best suit your set criteria."
198w ago - Update: To add more fuel to the fire, ScrawlFX.com has now uncovered a listing for Splinter Cell: Conviction in the Ubisoft Support center.
Since last year Ubisoft has been stating that they have no plans for a PS3 version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction, but now contradictory images are turning up in a Blockbuster Video ad and from Swedish retailer Game giving fans hope the XBox 360 exclusive is no more.
To quote: "Look at the scan below, although could be a typo, it shows a number of games and movies with the dates and times they'll be available, but what caught my attention was the Splinter Cell: Conviction listing that also lists PS3 as one of the platforms.
204w ago - Today Ubisoft announced that Splinter Cell: Conviction has been delayed once again, this time to April, 2010.
Sam Fisher has been working on his escape from Ubisoft's game factory since 2006, when Splinter Cell: Conviction was announced for the Xbox 360 and PC.
After a host of holdups, it appeared as if the Splinter Cell hero would at last find freedom on retail shelves, when Ubisoft attached a firm February 23 release date to the stealth-oriented action game in September.
Unfortunately, that will not be the case, as Ubisoft announced today that Splinter Cell Conviction has been delayed out of its current fiscal year and into April 2010.
206w ago - Ubisoft just announced a Collector's Edition of the stealth sequel for "all" European, Middle Eastern, Asian, and Pacific territories - and it comes with different stuff than the North American version!
Paying more for a fancier version of Splinter Cell: Conviction is no longer an exclusively North American privilege.
To quote: The rest of the world's Collector's Edition will include the usual steel-book case and soundtrack, and also the distinguished-looking Sam Fisher statue seen above, frozen forever in the act of almost stepping on his night vision goggles.
The pack also includes in-game bonuses like an Infiltration Mode, a special "Shadow Armor" skin, and "early access" to the SC300, SR2 and MP5 weapons.
See the new weapons and the other bonuses in the video below!
