100°
108w ago - Today Creator Chris Boelinger has revealeed that the Dungeon Twister board game will be arriving on PSN this coming Tuesday with details below.

To quote: My name is Christophe Boelinger, and I create board games.

To date, I've made more than 30, most of which are available in North America. My life is dedicated to games, so it goes without saying that I've always dreamt of having one of my board games turned into a video game.

When I designed the [Register or Login to view links] in 2003, I knew it was the perfect candidate for a videogame adaptation.

Its modularity, its infinite gameplay, its never-ending renewal, the tremendous variety in strategies that can be deployed, and most of all its addictive nature.

So when I met the guys from [Register or Login to view links] at a board game convention, it was a revelation – and the beginning of Dungeon Twister as a video game. Dungeon Twist makes the jump to PSN this Tuesday, July 3rd.

So what is Dungeon Twister? It is a turn-based strategy game that some describe as a mix between chess and Dungeons & Dragons. The story is simple: A powerful character called the Arch-Mage has discovered immortality.

But he's...

To quote: Welcome back from E3! I'm sure you all are pretty pumped for what's to come this year in the video game world.

A slew of new AAA titles, new features, and new announcements from our favorite games. Speaking of our favorite games, as the executive producer of DC Universe Online, it is no surprise that what I'm most excited about coming out of E3 is DC Universe Online's new DLC pack!

That's right, more new content for a game that is already free-to-play! And the best part is...you don't have to wait much longer to jump into battle.

Tomorrow, we launch DCUO's highly anticipated fourth DLC pack: The Last Laugh. We are greatly anticipating the release of this new pack as it is the first time we have created a major update almost entirely focused on player-versus-player (PvP) combat.

The Last Laugh will include hours of multiplayer gameplay in the Safe Houses and Headquarters, an all-new weapon, and new Light-Powered and Kryptonian Legends PvP characters.

The story revolves around The Joker, who decides that the Heroes...

117w ago - SEGA Digital Campaigns Manager Mike Kebby has shared a video today of Sonic 4 Episode II, which brings Metal Sonic to PSN on May 16, 2012.

To quote: We're extremely pleased to be able to announce that Metal Sonic is making a return to the Sonic universe.

Not only is Metal Sonic returning to wreak havoc in the boss battles of Sonic 4 Episode II, but he's making a star appearance in exclusive content for owners of both Episodes I and II! In other words, now you can play as Metal Sonic.

In the same way as Mega Drive owners who owned Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic & Knuckles got additional content if they 'locked on' one cart onto the other, so too do gamers who own both Episode I and Episode II.

Simply put, gamers who own both Episodes get exclusive access to Episode Metal as part of Episode II.  This is an exclusive zone telling the story of what Metal Sonic was up to during the first episode, following his mysterious revival.

Set in the world of Episode I, you can play stages that have been rearranged for Metal Sonic.

Sonic 4 Episode II releases on PSN in...

Not only are we pleased to announce this news about Metal Sonic, but we also have a release...

Video: Resistance: Burning Skies PS Vita Multiplayer Brings the Pain

118w ago - Sony Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has made available some new video footage today spotlighting multiplayer action in Resistance: Burning Skies for the PS Vita console.

To quote: If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area, come by our community meetup [Register or Login to view links] to go hands-on with Resistance: Burning Skies in a kill-or-be-killed multiplayer tournament!

If it's true that a shooter is only as good as its weapons, Resistance: Burning Skies is shaping up to be a delight indeed.

Take the Mule, a new double-barreled shotgun that dishes out devastating buckshot blasts and launches explosive bolts via its over-barrel crossbow. Or the ever-popular Auger, whose projectiles hungrily chew through walls to seek out warm flesh.

But my favorite gun so far is the lethal Hunter rifle, a long-range Chimeran burst-fire weapon with the ability to deploy an attack drone that you can guide towards your multiplayer foes with taps on the front touchscreen - tres sophisticated!

Playing a series of Wifi multiplayer matches in Resistance: Burning Skies in New York City last week was a valuable reminder that shooting ultra-powerful weapons just feels...
