Noby Noby Boy Version 1.1 is Now Available on PSN

200°
280w ago - Today Keita Takahashi of Namco Bandai Games has announced that Noby Noby Boy v1.1 is available via PlayStation Network.

To quote: Finally, the updated 1.1 version is ready (available now on PSN). Honestly, debugging it was hard for multiplayer as it was a hotbed for bugs.

So, if you run into a bug or two, please laugh that off. Since there are more silly updates aside from multiplay, I hope everyone has fun with the game as a whole. By looking at the number of WEBWEBBOY, however, a lot of people don't seem to have noticed the updates. They may be playing something else and not know about them. But I do wonder when GIRL will reach Mars.

So now FARTBOY is audible. As it says names of the excreted in Japanese and English in a random manner, it's perfect for 2 to 3-year-olds to study languages.

Wouldn't it be interesting to have it encompass entire languages, like excreting with a certain button held lets it speak a German word, etc? This feature may not mean much, but I think it'll be fun to perfect this spec.

Also, there is a hidden function in the game called SYNCHROBOY that people might not know about; it's not even in the manual.

I expected that people would notice by now, but I feel like...

Put on your Poker Face: Texas Cheat'em Hits PSN Today

281w ago - Wideload Games Director Scott Corley has announced that Texas Cheat'em hits PSN today.

To quote: [Register or Login to view links] from Wideload Shorts is out on PlayStation Network THIS WEEK for $9.99.

First, a bit about [Register or Login to view links]. We're an indie studio within an indie studio. Our team lives within the walls of Wideload Games. Wideload's founder, Alex Seropian, did some stuff once.

He started this studio called Bungie, made this game called Halo, and sold it all to some other company. But Wideload, much to the delight of those who work here, is about doing new things, and taking new chances.

The Wideload Shorts team makes small games that are imbued with Wideload's trademark humor. Our focus is on good, solid, NEW gameplay that will stand the test of time. When it comes to our gameplay, we are nurturing and protective.

Imagine that our gameplay is a baby bunny rabbit. We will bring it carrots, and lick its fur to keep it clean. If coyotes are the latest fad, and everybody insists that we MUST get a coyote ("don't worry, your baby bunny should be fine"), we won't do it. Our motto is: "coyotes eat gameplay."

We'd like to think that the title of our...

Bionic Commando: Rearmed Reduced on PSN to Only $4.99

281w ago - Producer Ben Judd has announced today that Bionic Commando: Rearmed has been reduced to only $4.99 on PSN.

To quote: As some of you may already know, [Register or Login to view links] will be released on May 19th for the PLAYSTATION 3. It's one of the few big releases in May to feature a 20-plus-hour-long single-player campaign and several multiplayer modes. Oh yeah, it also has a really damn cool swing mechanic.

Speaking of the swing mechanic, it's taken a VERY long time to make it into exactly what we wanted it to be. The game, for very obvious visual reasons, gets compared to Spider-man a lot. They both have a swing mechanic, but Bionic Commando plays very differently from Spider-man in that it uses a skill-based mechanic. Just as the name suggests, if you want to get better at the game, you need to increase your skill level.

There are a lot of games these that put you on auto-pilot straight to the end with very few deaths or real skill-based challenges. The thinking behind this strategy is that players nowadays don't want to be frustrated and want to have their fun right away. Well, that's good in theory, but some of the best and most memorable games I've played challenged you to overcome the obstacles set before you.

There is a certain...
