Video: Sony Announces Numblast for PS3 Hits PSN This Week

251w ago - Today Sony Computer Entertainment of America's Product Marketing Specialist David Bull has announced that Numblast for PS3 (and PSP) will be hitting PSN this week.

To quote: It's out in Japan, it's out in Europe, and this week: Numblast will be available here in North America!

Get your hands on this addictive puzzle game (available for both PS3 and PSP) at the attractive price of $4.99 for either platform. Based on simple number combinations, Numblast is colorful, quirky, fast-paced and easy to pick up, but only those with quick wits and mental agility will make it to the top of the online rankings.

The multiplayer component of Military Madness is comprised entirely of new content. Fat Princess v1.03 Patch Update and PS3 Demo Hit PSN Today

251w ago - SCEA Santa Monica Studio Managing Producer Deborah Mars has revealed that the previously announced Fat Princess v1.03 patch update and PS3 Demo are hitting PSN today.

To quote: Last week the good people over at Titan Studios announced on this here blog the completion and imminent release of Patch 1.03 and the highly anticipated Demo.

Alas, the time has come and we are pleased to announce that the patch and demo will be out on the PlayStation Network today.

In case you didn't hear, Patch 1.03 contains a brand new map, New Pork, which we're providing absolutely free. Yep, FREE. We're extremely grateful to all the fans for their support of Fat Princess and we hope that many of you will spread the love and entice your friends who have not yet tried the game to give it a go.

For those of you who can't find a LocoRoco opponents locally, check out the Global Leaderboard (accessible via Infrastructure mode) to compete with the top players from around the globe.

The top five players will be given the option to upload their replay save for bragging rights. Those who don't rank in the top 5 can download those replays for possible tips on improving their game. Talk about showing your LocoRoco supremacy!

PixelJunk Shooter Target Date for December 24, 2009 on PSN

251w ago - PixelJunk Shooters is one of the most anticipated remaining PlayStation 3 games waiting to be released before the end of the year.

The PlayStation Network exclusive title looks like it would just sneak into the 2009 release calendar.

Dylan Cuthbert, the President and Managing Director of Q-Games, posted the following comments on his personal [Register or Login to view links] page, to quote:

"all I can say is we're aiming for Dec. 24th in Japan"

Christmas Eve seems like an interesting release frame since most of the holiday shopping done from consumers are already completed. Even so, PixelJunk Shooters is shaping up to be another hit game in the popular PixelJunk series.
