Video: Kurulin Fusion for PSP Available Today on Sony's PSN

249w ago - MTO USA Marketing's Scott Pelland has revealed that Kurulin Fusion for Sony's PSP is available starting today on PSN, as follows:

Five years ago, I had the pleasure of listening to the music of [Register or Login to view links] at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in L.A.

The concert, entitled Dear Friends-The Music of Final Fantasy, was performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra and the Los Angeles Master Chorale, and conducted by Miguel Harth-Bedoya.

I sat right behind the orchestra and geeked out for the entire performance. So when [Register or Login to view links] asked me to help market their upcoming PSP game featuring Uematsu's music, of course I said I would love to.

Kurulin Fusion turned out to be a cool little game, and what it lacks in Moogles and Chocobos it makes up for with futuristic graphics and a musical score directed by maestro [Register or Login to view links].

But what makes the music even more of an exception is that every song is a variation of a classical composition by Johann Sebastian Bach. Believe me, when you listen to this game's soundtrack you are in the company of giants. Two giants, in fact. With seven tracks and over 40 minutes of heavenly...

Video: PixelJunk Shooter for PS3 Arrives on PSN Tomorrow

250°
249w ago - Today Dylan Cuthbert, President and Executive Producer at Q-Games Ltd., has announced that tomorrow PixelJunk Shooter for PS3 arrives on Sony's PlayStation Network.

To quote: The wait is almost over. PixelJunk Shooter will finally be available on the PlayStation Store tomorrow, Thursday, December 10 for $9.99...just in time for the holidays! (And another great gift is PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe for the PSP.

Remember you don't need a PSPgo to play Monsters Deluxe. It plays great on any PSP! That's something we've had a lot of mail about.)

As all you PixelJunk fans are aware, music plays an important role in all of our games. For Shooter, we worked very closely with [Register or Login to view links] and we really hope you enjoy the music as much as we do.

We've also added the ability to earn reward items in Home and have amped up our HOME PixelJunk area with a really cool new Shooter space. Be sure to check it out when it goes live next Thursday, December 17.

It seems most people are playing the game in offline 1p mode (which of course is engrossing to the extreme), but everyone should definitely try out the online play. It's a lot of fun and there are lots of like-minded...

249w ago - Team RamRod's Brandon Akiaten has announced that new High Velocity Bowling characters and Ball Packs are slated to hit PSN this week. A video is below, and to quote:

Happy Holidays Bowling fans! 2009 is almost over and we wanted to close the year out with a PAINful Xmas! That's right... Jarvis and Ginger are coming to High Velocity Bowling.

These are both available this Thursday 12/10 for just $0.99 each, and they each come with a new customized bowling lane and bowling ball! If that wasn't enough we also have two new ball packs coming your way also for $0.99 each!

For those late bloomers who haven't played the game yet, now's the perfect time to try it out. It uses the SIXAXIS motion sensors so you hold the controller and swing your arm like you're throwing the ball.

With 4-player local play and 2-player online, it's great fun for family and friends, and can be had for only $9.99 on PSN. In addition to the eight quirky, unique characters included in the base game, there are a bunch of other downloadable characters and ball packs available via in-game commerce or the PlayStation Store as well, on top of Jarvis and Ginger coming this week.

Here's the breakdown of the goodies coming this Thursday:
