160w ago - Marvel Studios Manager Chris Baker of Licensed Games has shared a video today introducing Marvel Pinball, which is coming soon to fans via PlayStation Network.
To quote: While ZEN Pinball demonstrates Zen Studios' immeasurable passion for making awesome pinball tables, Marvel Pinball enhances things with an equal passion for Marvel and its characters. These guys really get it.
Let's take a look at each table in the initial set, shall we? (Yes, I said "initial" - Marvel Pinball will regularly expand upon with new tables. More on that at the end.)
The Invincible Iron Man
With a couple of hit movies in the recent past, some might argue that Iron Man is the most popular hero at Marvel these days. (Who'da thunk that three years ago?...) As with all tables, Zen gives us a comics-based take on Tony Stark's heroics, including showdowns with the Mandarin, Whiplash (who at times actually destroys your ball if it crosses his path) and - if you're a real pinball wizard - Ultimo. And the table doesn't just stick to the "Iron Man" part of Tony's life - you'll...

161w ago - SCEA Producer George Weising has shared a video today while announcing that Beat Sketcher is coming soon to PSN for PlayStation Move.
To quote: The purpose of this is to introduce you all to Japan Studio's upcoming title Beat Sketcher, a Move exclusive title that will be available for purchase in the PlayStation Store just in time for Thanksgiving.
So, what is Beat Sketcher? It is actually hard to call this a game, as it is more of an artistic experience that allows you to become very creative using the PlayStation Move as your virtual drawing tool or paint brush.
Beat Sketcher lets you create your own masterpiece no matter what your skill level is. You can learn to draw by copying brush strokes in something called Challenge Mode or grab some friends and work together to create something magical (either cooperatively or competitively if you so choose).
My favorite part is the Creation Mode, where you start with a blank canvas, so-to-speak, and unleash my imagination! If you create something you're proud of, you can even upload it to YouTube for all your friends to see.
The basic team that created Beat Sketcher is a collaboration between JAPAN Studio, WILL Co., Ltd. (echochrome) and noisycroak Co.,Ltd. (echochrome,...
161w ago - Today Fluffy Logic Producer Ana Kronschnabl has announced that Eat Them is coming soon to PSN for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.
To quote: We're here to blog about our new title every two weeks, with a developer diary charting progress of the game from now until you're sick of hearing from us
You may, or may not, know that we demo-ed our new exclusive PlayStation 3 game for the PlayStation Network, 'Eat Them!' at E3 in June. In Eat Them! the player gets to create their own giant monster which they then use to smash, crash and munch their way though the city.
The monster is people-powered, so eating folk is a prerequisite of keeping your monster in full-on destruction mode. The game features eye-catching 'comic-style' graphics, fully customisable monster creation and lots and lots of smashing things.
The player has the option of single-player and split-screen multiplayer, head-to-head and co-operative missions. Eat Them! promises action, mayhem, destruction, humour and, did I mention?... eating people! The game is scheduled for release this winter.
So where do the ideas behind Eat Them! come from? I am a big fan of monster...
163w ago - SCEE European Product Manager Cristina Giuliano has posted up a video today of Tokyo Jungle, which is coming to Sony's European PlayStation Network in 2011.
To quote: I am happy to announce that Tokyo Jungle will be roaring into the European PlayStation Store in 2011.
You might have read about it on some of your favourite gaming sites and in magazine as it was one of the hidden gems at this year's Tokyo Game Show.
Imagine a post apocalyptic Tokyo in which the human race has been wiped out and wild animals rule the planet. Finally, you'll get to discover if a tiger could kill a crocodile and if a Chihuahua could outrun a monkey.
Choose your creature and try to survive as long as you can, running around the city in search of prey. You have to watch your back though; it's a real jungle out there.
You can use your animal radar to detect targets and attack by surprise and, if things get bad for you during the battle, go for the vital organs to deliver a killing blow.
And don't forget that both prey and predator have strengths and weaknesses to be taken into account.
The devastated Tokyo landscape is as large as thousands of HD TV screens and the action scrolls seamlessly from left to...
