To quote: Lots of great stuff on the SingStore this week so I'm gonna start by picking and choosing a few of my personal favourites like 'Common People' by Pulp, for example.
I'm also pretty excited about Steppenwolf, more Diana Ross & The Supremes plus The Kinks, Girls Aloud and, yes, of course 'Word Up' by Cameo (not only for the amazing trouser-like-things he is sporting in the video).
Also this week some German, Dutch and Spanish tracks including 'Lass Die Sonne Rein', 'Onderweg'and 'Causa y Effecto'.
And another bit of news for you: we will be making SongPacks available on the European PlayStation Store from Wednesday 16th June. Watch out for more content being added there in the coming months!
Finally, keep your eyes peeled for some very exciting announcements from SingStar at this weeks E3 games conference in sunny LA.
Oh...and good luck to all of your teams in the World Cup. Don't forget to celebrate with all the cool footie songs we have on the SingStore!
184w ago - SingStar Content Manager Nina Scherer of London Studios is here with this weeks PS3 releases today, as follows:
A great cross-section of songs this week from the last five decades kicking off with Perry Como's 'Magic Moments' and Millie's 'My Boy Lollipop' from the fab Fifties, followed by Dusty Springfield's Swinging Sixties hit 'I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself'.
Reperesenting the Seventies are Edwin Starr with 'War' and of course, the England Football Team 70 with 'Back Home'.
Only leaves the Eighties, Nineties and Noughties and you have a few to chose from here like 'Wild Thing' by Tone Loc, two tracks from Mr. Meat Loaf plus the Scorpions, N-Dubz, My Chemical Romance, Snoop Dogg and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Oh, and because I know that a lot of you will be busy making sure that your footie kits are spotless for the upcoming World Cup games, I've picked some songs and stuck them into an essential Football Anthems SongPack for you. Don't say I'm not good to you. Enjoy!
