Video: Lost Persona Chapter Persona 2: Innocent Sin Hits PSP

200°
173w ago - Atlus Manager of Public Relations and Sales Aram Jabbari has announced today alongside a video trailer that Lost Persona Chapter Persona 2: Innocent Sin is hitting Sony's PSP handheld console.

To quote: We're willing to guess that until someone finally dares to make The Adventures of Methuselah Jones, it'll be hard to find a game that's been anticipated by fans for over a decade.

That's right, back in 1999–in between all those exciting millennium parties, of course–a new chapter in the acclaimed Persona series of roleplaying games came out in Japan and was ultimately never published in North America. This "lost" chapter, long anticipated by fans of Atlus, the series, and RPGs in general, is extremely overdue.

Apart from one other game coming out this year that has teased and tortured its fanbase for a similarly agonizing stretch of time (you know, the one that wants bubble gum but is out of it), there really isn't much else out there that fans have been waiting as long for.

Which is why we're so excited to announce that the wait is nearly over. [Register or Login to view links], or rather, an enhanced version of it for PSP (PlayStation Portable) system, is finally coming to North America!

To quote: We're less than two weeks away from E3 2011 and the Ratchet & Clank team is hard at work prepping for what will no doubt be an awesome event full of surprises, game updates and the inevitable "Who Won?" arguments. But who said you had to wait until E3 to get it started? We'll go ahead and kick it off today.

RTS Under Siege Hits PSN in May, Game Editor & Move Support

50°
178w ago - Today Producer Filipe Pina has announced that RTS Under Siege hits PSN on May 3rd, and it includes both a Game Editor and PlayStation Move support!

To quote: After three years of production, Under Siege is finally ready to hit the PlayStation 3! In North America, it will be available on May 3rd on the PlayStation Store for $19.99.

Under Siege is a real-time action and strategy game where a small group of heroes fight against a huge invading army. The game is set in a medieval fantasy world and follows the story of Eirik, Kari and Asgeir. Designed to be played with the DualShock 3 controller or the PlayStation Move motion controller.

The built-in game editor is one of Under Siege's most interesting features, enabling players to create their own maps and game modes. The same exact tool that was used by the team to create all of the levels is available to everyone from the start, and there's no need to play through the campaign to unlock anything.

Other cool features include 1080p visuals, Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, support for two players in online and splitscreen play, audio and video chat for online games, video recording with screenshot capture, custom soundtrack support and more.

And a big apology to all the...

Dungeon Hunter: Alliance Hits PSN Today with PS Move Support

50°
179w ago - Producer Jean Claude has announced that Dungeon Hunter: Alliance officially hits PSN today and includes PlayStation Move support too!

To quote: Hard to believe it's almost been a year since we unveiled Dungeon Hunter: Alliance at E3, but the wait is finally over. Today, the game is available for download on the PlayStation Network!

In all honesty, we might have been able to release it sooner, but we really wanted to make sure this was a polished game, not just a run-of-the-mill hack 'n slash.

While the storyline is based on the original Dungeon Hunter, we wanted to re-imagine everything else for Alliance. So we rebuilt our game systems, graphics and engine from the ground up for the PlayStation 3.

Balance of Power

Just getting the classes balanced to the point we felt every player will be happy filling in a unique role for their party required extensive playtesting. To this end, we included some great abilities to unlock as your character progresses. Each class has a total of seven ability tiers and players unlock a new tier every few levels, so there's always something to look forward to just around the corner.

You're going to need all those powers, as monsters in co-op are noticeably...
