166w ago - Art and Designer Michael Michael at PomPom Games has made available some new video footage while announcing today that Alien Zombie Mega Death will be hitting the PS3 on June 21, 2011.

To quote: Make sure you have $8 in your PlayStation Store wallet come June 21st and prepare yourself for one of the most ridiculously intense shoot-em-ups ever... or at least since [Register or Login to view links] made their last PlayStation game.

But first, a dash of history. Last year PomPom made [Register or Login to view links] on PSP minis.

Heralded as "pacy, mean-spirited, and delightful" by [Register or Login to view links], it was a simple, extremely focused platform shooter. We loved making it. Anybody with the required skill set loved playing it. Those who didn't clearly play too much backgammon.

Now, on PS3, we have the official sequel to [Register or Login to view links]! We've taken the original game, pulled out a big jar of MEGA, and gratuitously poured it all over. The result? [Register or Login to view links]!

Video: Lost Persona Chapter Persona 2: Innocent Sin Hits PSP

200°
170w ago - Atlus Manager of Public Relations and Sales Aram Jabbari has announced today alongside a video trailer that Lost Persona Chapter Persona 2: Innocent Sin is hitting Sony's PSP handheld console.

To quote: We're willing to guess that until someone finally dares to make The Adventures of Methuselah Jones, it'll be hard to find a game that's been anticipated by fans for over a decade.

That's right, back in 1999–in between all those exciting millennium parties, of course–a new chapter in the acclaimed Persona series of roleplaying games came out in Japan and was ultimately never published in North America. This "lost" chapter, long anticipated by fans of Atlus, the series, and RPGs in general, is extremely overdue.

Apart from one other game coming out this year that has teased and tortured its fanbase for a similarly agonizing stretch of time (you know, the one that wants bubble gum but is out of it), there really isn't much else out there that fans have been waiting as long for.

Which is why we're so excited to announce that the wait is nearly over. [Register or Login to view links], or rather, an enhanced version of it for PSP (PlayStation Portable) system, is finally coming to North America!

But who said you had to wait until E3 to get it started? We'll go ahead and kick it off today.

RTS Under Siege Hits PSN in May, Game Editor & Move Support

50°
175w ago - Today Producer Filipe Pina has announced that RTS Under Siege hits PSN on May 3rd, and it includes both a Game Editor and PlayStation Move support!

To quote: After three years of production, Under Siege is finally ready to hit the PlayStation 3! In North America, it will be available on May 3rd on the PlayStation Store for $19.99.

Under Siege is a real-time action and strategy game where a small group of heroes fight against a huge invading army. The game is set in a medieval fantasy world and follows the story of Eirik, Kari and Asgeir. Designed to be played with the DualShock 3 controller or the PlayStation Move motion controller.

The built-in game editor is one of Under Siege's most interesting features, enabling players to create their own maps and game modes. The same exact tool that was used by the team to create all of the levels is available to everyone from the start, and there's no need to play through the campaign to unlock anything.

Other cool features include 1080p visuals, Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, support for two players in online and splitscreen play, audio and video chat for online games, video recording with screenshot capture, custom soundtrack support and more.

And a big apology to all the...
